We need a young coach who can innovate. Not going to argue for us to extend Dak. No more tying yourself to Dak anymore. Just have to entrust your scouting department.

The defensive players played hard, but for a playoff game, they looked so confused most of the game. I don’t know if Quinn had them doing things they haven’t been doing, but I saw more busted coverages and more receivers running free than I’d seen all season combined. I also seldom saw safeties in the picture on passes. What did Quinn have them doing?

As long as McClay is in charge of personnel, I'm good with it. This team probably needs a new coach at this point. I just don't see how you stick with McCarthy. Or Quinn after that blowout.

The writing was on the wall. This was his first year playing, and his performance over the last 10 games was at the very top. You can account for the first few games as rookie development... this guy learns quick.

Green Bay is a contender. I think we may be seeing a shift where teams will start to covet younger QBs more after seeing Stroud and Love this year. Stroud was good out of the gates, but Love was very good over the last 10... like I said in another thread, they began the season 2-5. Didn't look to even have a shot at making the tournament. The fact they did I think speaks to how their team chemistry began to gel and develop as the season progressed.

Something like that.. Difficult to get guys to play for a coach who's on the way out.

If you can’t stop the run you will never win playoff games.

This is why I don't understand.

You have Micah Parsons, who can play LB. And you have Sam Williams.. Why they never used more Parsons at LB and Williams at DE, I will never know. It's like they were stuck on Parsons just wearing himself out at DE. At some point, he becomes a one-trick pony. If you're going to do that, 3-4 is a much better defense anyway.
