The season is over, there is no future in Kitna, our offensive line needs a mobile QB and we have to find out if McGee has something or not.

Give him four games... if it doesn't work out, then you aren't any worse off.

I would like to see McGee play.

That is for sure.

Now, is a good time to see him.

I'm not a big McGee fan, but I'd do this. Kitna isn't the future. You may even get develop some sorely needed trade bait if he does well.

McGee will never be a starter in the NFL. But Kitna is not the answer of course. So who the hell knows with this team.

At the beginning of the season, who would have thought you or I would be saying this?

I don't agree.

He looked piss poor up until the last game of the season.

If he's the guy to be here after Romo (which I don't think he is), he sure as hell isn't ready. Not behind this line. You put him behind that line and he'll end up with David Carr Syndrome.

The only thing I'd be looking forward to this season is the young guys playing. I really don't want to see this team play Kitna, talking about "We're still in it..." and watch more veterans continue to underachieve for the rest of the season. No, please no.

I want to see Dez and Martellus taking targets from the other receivers. I want to see Felix and Choice. I want to see Sean Lee getting a chance and the freedom to go out and play like the Colts have Pat Angerer playing (makes mistakes but also makes some plays and gets experience). I want to see if the young offensive linemen on the team are worth a look for the future

At this point, let's start running the wishbone. Hell, McGoo ran option at Aggy. And we have 3 RBs to use. Felix knows how to run the wildcat so lets run that, too.

We'll be the first in the league to implement Georgia Tech's offense.

It's about all we can do. So why not let McGee get in there and mix it up. If he stinks it up, you put Kitna back in no problem. No questions asked.

There is nothing to lose here.

Get 'er done, Jerruh!

TRADE BAIT!

I was thinking the same thing with McGee but Kitna did look decent and guys like Dez who are the future would develop better because of playing with Jon Kitna as opposed to McGee.

Plus we need to see if Roy Williams can continue playing the way he has so we know what to do with him next season.

Felix also seemed to come in the picture more with Kitna.

I say keep Kitna in right now because Dez and Felix develop better this way as opposed to playing with McGee.

Dez and Felix's success far outweigh McGee's development as of now.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys still think they're in the playoff race (hell, probably the Super Bowl race if you asked some of them :laugh2:) so they will continue to play Kitna

He should at least get some trash time, which will apparently be more for the Cowboys than any other team in the NFL.

I could see them splitting time if McGee were allowed to play during trash time.

Yeah they would. Another reason I want Kitna starting. I don't believe in McGee at all and don't care to see him flounder and waste developmental time.

McGee is gonna get his chance, guaranteed, the o-line will get Kitna broke in half soon enough. The real question is who is after McGee? With this line and JG, we need a 6 pack of QB's.

Don't worry. Crayton is the emergency QB.

Wait.

Crap.

Nevermind.

By the way, where is gimme?

I'm interested in his thoughts.
