This is getting to the point where games are almost becoming unwatchable. Here is an article detailing it, and offering a solution.

http://lastwordonsports.com/2015/12/09/the-officiating-in-the-nfl-has-become-a-joke/

"The job being done by NFL referees is constantly under scrutiny and under a microscope. Usually after the game, fans and analysts alike sit there and dissect the missed calls, the outright blown calls, and the major issues they saw. "

We seem to get screwed more so than any other team.
That may seem biased in a way, as we watch all our games, and not all the other games. And we look at it from our point of view. But I can safely say we get screwed at least 3 to 1 of the calls.
We do not see all the bad calls in other games.
NFLN or ESPN can make a show out of the blown calls....how about a top 10 of the worst blown calls...oh, they won't, because NFL won't allow it. And we wil get 7 of the top 10 spots, and they can't allow that either.

Now look at how many other teams are getting calls all the time. GB [except the replacement officials game in Seattle], Pittsburgh, NE, NY Giants. Man do the Giants get some breaks.

And this does not count the non call late hits on Romo, and the finger tapped blow to the helmet calls Brady and Rodgers get.

The NFL never admits wrong doings.

And they never will. It's just ridiculous now. Not to mention they'be got a guy who doesn't have any experience refereeing as the vp of officiating.

Not another "The refs are out to get us" discussion. Sigh.

Bad teams are always going to be targeted by the refs. Didn't you know that?

It's entirely your bias, except for the roughing the passer thing, which is real. Otherwise, we do not get more calls going against us than other teams do.

"The poor guy literally fell, and rolled into a player and got a penalty for it? "

he log piled into the back of a players legs, not the front. crack back, block in the back, whatever you call it, that was bush league and a penalty!

I agree. This isn't about the Cowboys getting screwed. This is just officiating in general. I used the Cowboys examples so people on the board could relate more.

I was trying to be un biased. The announcers also agreed it wasn't a penalty however.

Maybe not more calls. Definitely more impact full calls though.

This isn't about us. If you read the article I am saying the refs suck in general. I used examples from cowboys games to relate to the board more. Plus Cowboys in text receives more hits. Come on now haha

Refs have sucked all around the league this year. The fact that the Commish says they have been great makes me believe that the guy's only role is to troll fans and players.

I don't even think that's the case.

If people honestly paid attention to games other then the ones their favorite team is in they'd see that bad officiating is a serious problem across the board. These types of terrible calls, or no calls, are in every single game and go against every single team.

It's not a Cowboys bias, or a bias for or against any team for that matter. It's absolutely dreadful officiating, across the board, at all times.

With his salary. I wouldn't care much about anything either. The fact he hired Blandino who has no experience in officiating should really answer every question

Maybe so, but it doesn't make it right and it is point that should be discussed. I used to be a NY Knicks season ticket holder, not I can't even watch the NBA anymore. It all started with the Michael Jordan rule, if he misses a shot, a late foul is called.

I just can't be as dismissive about this...and we are not the only ones getting screwed. A friend of mine is a Buffalo Bills fan, you should have seen the discrepancy in penalties when his team played the Giants and Patriots. Ticky tac late calls negate big plays and scores made by the refs against the Bills...Blatant missed "no calls" against their opponents for big-plays/scores.

Not too mention the other post in here talking about the other darlings like GB and QB's that are given roughing penalties while Romo get's his head bashed in, late hits to his back and such...no calls. It's getting really hard to be a hard core NFL fan now, they are catering to the money and the causal fan base.

makes you wonder what the frig some were thinking during the ref hold-out. The only thing they have over the replacement refs is that they move the game along faster, other than that they suck just as bad. No offense to any of you union sycophants of course.

The only time I remember in recent history that we seemed to get a slight advantage in the calls was when we signed Sam to the practice squad. It seemed to stop about the time we cut him. I always wondered if it goes back to when Jerry signed his own deal I think it was with Nike instead of going with the league apparel deal.
