The OL sucks

Mike Solari has made this unit even worse than last year somehow.

Steele looks regressed (he was always bad)
Tyron needs to retire
Biadasz was getting bullrushed all game
I am telling you, you need to blow up the offensive staff this offseason including the dude calling the plays.

Dak had GREAT pocket presence tonight.
your only counting the good plays. when you account for taking unnecessary sacks and not making plays that were there to be made, he definitely doesn't deserve the GREAT rating.

At least this sounds a little different than the GameDay threads, where everyone claims Pollard is the problem.

pretty easy to knock him when he keeps running the same ineffective play over & over.
You can knock him for that but at some point players need to execute. That line is highly compensated. Martin sat out to get paid, Steele got his big deal, Biadiaz is trying to get his…..

Some of the sacks aren’t bad. I’d rather take a sack than a pick 6. The ones on 3rd and 10 in field goal range I have come to expect at this point. A sack on 2nd and 8 is frustrating. Live to right another down and throw it away.

don't disagree that they should be performing better .... but it's the coach's job to react to reality.

He has too many where he has the opportunity to realize it's coming & get rid of the ball and instead loses 8-10 yards.

I mean it’s him trying to make a play. He’s not seeing guys open. I don’t fault a guy for trying to get the big play. I’ve seen the alternative and it’s throwing a pick thinking he can get away with it. Not excusing sacks I just don’t think all are the same. It’s frustrating to watch as a fan.

I'm not saying wing it & hope, I'm saying throw it away safely.

We need more push from the middle and it all starts with Biadasz, he a good center just not a top 10 center that can manhandle guys.

It is a shell of its former self.

If 2015 to 2016 was its peak years we are light years short of that type of a line.

I couldn't believe how many times Dak had to run out of the pocket. Not good.

I think its more coaching than talent though. We've got some capable linemen who would do great on another team.

part of the problem is Pollard is not a three down back. Him and Elliott worked well as a tandem but I think as a starter
Pollard is overrated. The Cowboys would be better off at end of season not resigning Pollard and draft a RB and two OL.

yes the line is bad. Here is why. They really haven't been playing together very long. Been hurt. They are still banged up. They have a new line coach. New scheme. once we get healthier as time goes, we will be better. We need time to Gel. Bright spots are We have Bass and Hoffman. Be patient guys. We will get better. once we get better, the run game will. The passing game will. Then the flags will get better. Its all connected and has little to do with the plays being called by MM. It starts and ends with the line.

Mike Solari isnt the issue. We been banged up bad all year and mixing, matching guys. We are far from 100%. Give it time.

I don't know. But getting knocked back into your QB is not good. The blocking was horrible last night. Dak had to escape numerous times to avoid even more sacks. Terrence Steel, Biadaz, and even old Smith are weak links. O line, Safety, and LB are the top of my list this offseason.

No but alot of folks here blasted Zeke and said make Tony the #1 back. I don't know what they saw. He is and always will be a change of pace back.

Its a shame how bad this unit regressed. Compare our OL to Philly’s.

Steele shouldnt have been re-signed and Tyron is done
Or with SF OL , which is not talked about but quietly they are keeping Purdy pretty.
