Romo, and second isn't in the same stadium. As much as I love Ware, Witten, Felix, Ratliff, or Buehler (jk), without Romo, this team is below .500.

It's just like noone being able to associate Troy Aikman or Roger Staubach with anyone else but the Dallas Cowboys. So at this point in time, the only player that I would love to stay a Dallas Cowboy throughout and eventually retire with the Star on their helmets is a tie between DeMarcus Ware, Jason Witten and Tony Romo. They are at record breaking paces. All in a Dallas uniform. And their attitudes exemplify all that is good and great of the Dallas Cowboys. I can't agree with naming anyone else but them. Maybe Flozell Adams because he's been one of the top LTs in the league for most of his 12 years in the NFL. All in a Dallas Cowboy uniform. And I hope Ware, Witten and Romo end up that way.
That'll probably happen.Yeagermeister;3311677 said:Jesse Holley

You realize all his stats/QB rating are better when he's NOT running for his life and get's to stay in the pocket right? Why do so many think Romo is at his best when he has to make some insane play? Romo is very accurate and has one of the fastest releases ever seen in the game. If he ever goes to another team (one that actually has on oline) he will be even greater than he is now.Wrangler87;3314257 said:Witten is the most likely. I could see Ware end up like Peppers at some point when he starts to get old.
I could also see Romo possibly going the Favre route if Dallas ever gets another young QB that catches up to him. The thing about Romo is, if he ever slows down physically, I don't know if his arm is great enough to keep him in the NFL. He doesn't have a Favre/Elway arm. He is more like a Steve Young who is great because he is quick and athletic. If a leg injury slows him, he could be out of the NFL.
Unless Romo playing for another team within the next couple years, McGee will never be anything but trade bait here. By the time Romo hangs them up, McGee will be in his 30s.bbgun;3314279 said:Stephen McGee, on the assumption that he turned out to be something special.

Other noteables for me are of course D'Ware and Witten.
