Uh, . . . . . . . . . . . NO!

Then I fear for him.

He can be very easily extorted right now so long as he shares time alone with a woman. All she says is he hit her in some manner and he will face a huge penalty. A year of time away from football is $13M and football players don't have long careers. So all she has to do is ask for $100K or she files a police report. If he says no to the extortion attempt he could be out of football for life. It is the proverbial gun to the head.

I'm not saying this as anything against Hardy or anything against women. There is a perverse set of incentives right now against him that unscrupulous people may try to take advantage of.

I have a hard time believing a guy thats used to women will be staying away from them. Hopefully he has some better women around, but one never knows for sure.

Thread name: The one player you don't trust.
OP lists 5 players.

lol kidding of course. I would without a doubt have to go with McClain. No hesitation or second thought at all. Every Sunday that he's in the game with 100% focus and health would be icing on the cake to me for this defense. Not counting on him one bit, and anyone who is, is just setting themselves up for disappointment IMO.

Not bashing the guy at all. I love him. To me he's just not reliable at all, whether it's a mental thing, physical thing, or some combination. Hope he proves me wrong this season and gives his all every game and can stay healthy.

EDIT: I re-read the OP and if this was supposed to be about which player we think might be in trouble with the law this season, I didn't mean that I think McClain would be in trouble with the law. Just that I don't trust him to be available on Sundays.

That's an easy question to answer for me.
It's Tony Romo without a doubt.

........I guess, he just needs to wear a helmet cam full time for video to protect himself........

Lucky Whitehead. I trust that dude about as far as I can throw him. He only weights 163lbs; so that isn't too bad, but if he were a left tackle, fuhgeddaboudit!

I don't worry about this kind of stuff and honestly I could care less.

I don't get why so many people get so upset if their football team isn't squeaky clean.

I watch football to be entertained. Not to get on some kind of moral high.

If Joseph Randle is a great RB I'll just cheer while you criticize him.

The same reason the team and the league are concerned about it. It detracts from the product on the field and creates an unnecessary distraction.

Cole Beasley.

That name just freaks me out. Reminds me of the the little doll "Mrs. Beasley" on Family Affair. Eeeeeehhhkkkk.

It's the dearth of hypocriticizers not just here, but every forum.
You know. I know. We are wise in our ways, yes?

Everyone is a hypocrite. Yet, we still have to encourage responsible behavior.

Randle and it's not even close. I am rooting for McFadden to win the starter's job outright with Ryan Williams as his backup.

Randle doesn't realize the privilege he has to wear the Star. I seriously hope he is a "surprise" roster cut.

This is a hypothetical thread because news is slow. I trust JG and everyone on the staff so I think even though we have a few guys who have made questionable decisions, I don't think anything will happen. If you had to pick though, or if there is a player you really don't trust, who is going to get into trouble in 2015. I'm not putting Dez because he has never been suspended before. You can put Dez if you want

Hardy
McClain
Scandrick
Gregory
Randle

I trust McClain the least and if I had to guess on someone falling off due to character it would be him.

I'm sorry..

and some will hate me..

but my answer is Tony Romo.

I just don'the trust he can get us where we want to go.

I saw it again in the Packer playoff game.

I know everybody wants to point at the Dez non-catch as the reason we lost..

or the lack of a pass rush.

But even with all that..

the defense had them down 21-6 in the 3rd Qt. and we clearly had control of the game.

Lack of pass rush wasn't that much of a factor.

The problem was..

Romo couldn't close the deal.

The offense went into a shell and he stopped throwing except on 3rd downs when the Packers were ready.

And the Dez throw was a despair throw like I have seen him do throughout his career.

All we needed was a first down and keep the chains moving and he went deep for the Hero Ball.

It was like only 2nd down when he did that as I recall.

So to me..no matter what else Romo does..

He has to win playoff games..

not turn the ball over and win when HE HAS TO IN BIG GAMES.

Like all the big boy QB'S do.

Hey..be realistic if you reply here as what I just said is a truism until Romo proves otherwise.

Your wife has a whole drawer of those things? Damn... Mine has several, but a whole drawer... That's a lot.
I wouldn't let Randle near it either... How could the guy resist so much pheromones in one concentrated area?

Even I would be reduced to an animal reacting to millions of years of instinct.

There are still pheremones present? Detergent. Washing machine. Look into it. ;)

I feel ya man but Garrett has built up a tremendous supporting cast around him. Romo will get his ring, it might not be pretty but he will get at least one when its all said and done...

I have no problem if people do not not trust romo, that is their prerogative. However to use the GB game is pretty ridiculous.

They were never up 21-6, it was 21-13 in the 3rd quarter, but don't let facts get in the way. TR had zero turnovers and only 4 incomplete passes for the game.

I guess he should have ran beside Murray to make sure he didn't fumble or maybe went down and help Dez hold onto the ball. Oh, I know. He should rushed the passer to get Rodgers off the field.

And what is with complaining with throwing only on 3rd down? Is romo calling the plays now?

Lots of things to complain about with that game, but romo wasn't one of them.
