Ive got a bad feeling that Witten will end up being the one that got away. After this year he will want a new contract and play his last season then go for the money after Jones refuses to pony up the dough. Its ashame too, he was a good one. :bang2: :starspin

Witten wants to stay. Who was the last star JJ let go?

Thats a good one even tho some might say Emmitt it was because of the circumstances with BP. Other than him no one of whom even we would call a star Jerry has let go. Remember the cap hell we went through to keep the big 3 and Deion and so on...Jerry hopefully will learn and keep the young core of talent here Jason and Roy of course and hopefully develop more young guys.

I'd argue Alvin Harper was the last star JJ let go. Sure he wasn't the caliber of Troy, Emmitt or Mike, but he was a very important piece of our first 2 superbowl winning teams in the 90's. He was the perfect complimentary WR to Mike. Although the Cowboys won a superbowl without him it was indeed a struggle and had it not been for O'Donnell's 2 gift wrapped INTs to Brown we would be 0-3 against the Steelers.

Your a tard if you think there is a shot in hell of us not resigning Witten. We will cut Ellis or Glover before we get rid of Witten.

TheKey, don't you wish we could roll back the clock to when we didn't have Witten or Roy or JuJo so you wouldn't have as much to worry about?

I hate to tell you that thousands die in auto accidents every year. Now you probably won't ever ride in a car again.

I just saw on the news that tens of thousands get food poisoning every year and around 5,000 die. You probably won't ever eat again either.

If I see a real skinny emaciated person riding a skate board, I'll wave at you.

Do you know that most of the things in life that we worry about never happen?
Why don't you worry about things that are more real?

Since when does Jerry NOT try and keep his playmakers happy, and in a Cowboy uniform? While in their prime that is, and w/o equal talent standing in the wings.
