I would prefer players that do not celebrate after every little play.

Now a big time sack on 3rd down; or a pick 6. That is worth celebrating. But at the same time I would rather see players act like they are not attention ******.

A lot of these kids never saw the guys that used to just play the game, .. always humble, never self-serving.

Teammates celebrated for you if you did something big, but players never celebrated their own accomplishments. Humility, .. looking back it was refreshing.

Sadly, this is true. Today's players put more thought on end zone dances, than what they have to do to get to the end zone. Years ago, it was much more of a team celebration.

personally i like the guys that get their teammates involed in the celeration. Give the lineman that blocked for ya a chance to spike it. ... stuff like that. My favorite of all time was the Terrel Salute in the endzone.

Champ Bailey, 2005 AFC playoffs against the Patriots. Had the ball knocked out of his grasp just as he was about to score on what would have been a 100+ yard pick-six.


No NFL player, with possession of the football, should EVER slack off prior to actually crossing the goal line!!!!!!
