Notice how the haters don't have anything to say.
So Marino isn’t ever allowed to brag that he was a good QB?More stats.....
In the end, what is the playoff record from 2016 to 2025? That's what matters. If you consistently fail in the post season games, no one other than people like the OP and Yobs will remember the regular season fluff.
Bragging rights to me would be comparing Lombardi's, not regular season stats.
An essentially sound post applicable to all teams, players, coaches, etc. Well done. This is the qualitative data vs quantitative data argument. Quantitative data is data that focuses solely on numbers and stats. Qualitative data focuses on observation and experiential analysis.
So in this case quantitative data states clearly Dak puts up big numbers against playoff teams. Also in this case qualitative data shows Dak has poor starts to playoff games.
This research manipulation also happens to other parts of the team and not just Dak. In the Dan Quinn years we had a top defense as far as turnovers. That’s quantitative data. In the playoffs they played poorly, qualitative data.
This has been my argument for the last 30 years of who’s better Emmitt or Barry. Quantitative data says Barry was better. Qualitative data says Emmitt was better. Emmitt showed up in big games and especially in the 3 Super Bowls and Super Bowl runs. Barry disappeared in the playoffs if the Lions made it to the playoffs.
Ideally you want your players to excel in both aspects of research. Ala Emmitt, Irvin, Aikman. The best players show you qualitative and quantitative data.
The haters got egg on their face and are too deep into their hate to know it.I posted this before, but I'll post it again:

The entire organization can play better. You just think only Dak needs to play better since that’s all you talk about. The D has been awful in playoff games and rightly deserves to be culprit number one.
That said— Dak’s QB rating alone doesn’t explain the whole story. He has started slow in several first half performances and failed to score or sustain drives. This puts tremendous pressure on an already suspect D.
Throw in some horrid INTs (like his pick 6 against GB) and it isn’t just a bad throw or a turnover, it is absolutely morale killing and back breaking.
You just can’t do that. Far too often, Dak and the offense start slow and inefficiently.
Is he the main problem for a 2-5 playoff mark? No. But can he play a hell of a lot better? Yes.
Dak, Dak, Dak. So only Dak has poor starts to playoff games. It’s all Dak’s fault. Jeez, you people need to go to church or something. This is the qualitative data vs quantitative data argument. Strong reality check for those who have tunnel vision love, and fail to do a deeper dive into player performances. Ask Ravens fans how they feel about Lamar's when looking at this same data. That being said, I am curious if our D gets out to strong starts, then weakens as the game goes on due to the O not getting things going. On the flip side, if our D is starting off sluggish, then it does put more pressure on the QB and O to play catch up.......The love vs hate debate about our QB is so misguided both ways, and it's not about who is most to blame. Remember that with any QB, their performance will strengthen with a strong running game and by forcing the opposing team to play from behind. No further evidence than what Darnold does with a strong Hawks DThe D has been awful in playoff games and rightly deserves to be culprit number one.

Damn what’s the system? I don’t even think Cowboys know lol;On 3rd and 7 any QB can walk off the field witha 2 yd completion and the stats look great.
But I have to give him credit he used to try for the first and the result was a pick 6, so props for.that.
Wake me up when we're in the Super Bowl with Dak as QB or even losing a championship game for that matter.
He's developed into a great system QB.
,,, and finishes strong in garbage time... There's nothing new here, just another reporter trotting out click bait.So the narrative has shifted to “he starts slow in playoff games”
That’s progress.
Mahomes that low is shocking.I posted this before, but I'll post it again:

No, they don't; you just can't clearly see the argument. Lamar is looked at as more of a misery in the postseason than Dak is, and has been gifted a stronger team/organizaiton as well. You guys just can't look at stats alone in measuring success/failurek it goes so much deeper than the numbers. The haters got egg on their face and are too deep into their hate to know it.
What reporter lol?,,, and finishes strong in garbage time... There's nothing new here, just another reporter trotting out click bait.
And it says a lot about this list.Mahomes that low is shocking.
