Drew Bledsoe. Yep, that's what I said, Drew Bledsoe, straight from the President of the Drew Bledsoe Basher's Club. Compared to other players at the same position he deserves it more than any other Cowboy this year.
Take away McFlabbs gift to Roy and he hasn't done anything but dive at people's feet this year, oh and a few horse collars. Larry Allen? Are you kidding me?

Brunell has had a better, more effecient year.

Brunell: 20 tds 8 picks
Bledsoe: 21 tds 14 picks

I don't really agree with everyone about Newman. Playmakers go to the probowl. Newman has done a fine job at covering his guys, but he hasn't been a playmaker.

He can't be a playmaker if he doesn't get thrown at. T-New has yet to give up a TD this year and for a starting CB in the NFL that is outstanding.

Newman would have been my choice.
I actually don't think any Cowboy deserves it this year. We flat out don't have any playmakers although I'd love to see Newman return many more punts, that's why I wanted to draft him to begin with, CB+Return man. If all he did was play corner at Kansas State nobody would have known who he was.

But you see Jimmy I know how picky you are......So I'm not surprised. :D

Go read my post in the sports zone.......ESPN..UT....Rose Bowl. I'm sure you will find it interesting.

Thats all fine and dandy. He won't get the recognition that these other guys get BECAUSE they won't throw his way.

I'll take that over having him go to the probowl anyday. I'm not saying he isn't good enough.

I just can't beleive what a difference one year makes. He was abused last year, now there isn't a QB that will throw his way.

Remember the year the Horns punted the ball up in the stands every time to make sure Newman didn't touch it?

It's sad that you say T-New can't go to the Pro Bowl because he isn't being thrown at. That's precisely why he should go. If he's not being thrown at, then QB's don't like what he's doing to his WR.

Of course all we're talking about is a game that completely sucks anyway. All-Pro is what really matters.

When you turn on sprortscenter, do you see Newman shutting his man down or do you see Joe Blow taking a pick to the house? Newman is among the best, but he isn't recognized because you don't see him on sportscenter.

Roy has made more big plays than any other strong safety in the NFL this season, so he deserves his spot in the Pro Bowl.

And as far as Newman not deserving to go because he doesn't make enough plays, plenty of cornerbacks have made the Pro Bowl in recent years with fewer interceptions than Newman has this year. Had ESPN or any other major media outlet caught onto what Newman has done this season, he might be going -- or at least be an alternate. He's had a better season than he did as a rookie, when he was an alternate.

I just wish Roy was as good as the hype he gets.

We have no probowlers on the squad at this time, check with us next year - there should be plenty.

Newman was injured throughout last season.

from what I have seen LA has been fine...I think LA is being compared to the LA of old and not his peers which is not fair...LA has been the steadiest performer on the Offense
