The only thing this win tells me is we will get smashed in two weeks by the Eagles

Nothing to smile about since Davis Mills was able to move the Ball up and down the field. I can only imagine what Hurts will do.

But he didn't move the ball up and down the field. He couldn't even get them 6 yards in the fourth qtr with the game on the line.

But don't let facts get in the way of your doom and Gloom scenario.

Jump already this is getting old

Mr Schultz is slowly playing himself out a big contract situation next season The sure TD throw from Dak that he dropped was a pure business decision on his part to protect himself instead of holding on to it.

Hes regressed and I’m thrilled to have Hendershot and Ferguson ready to take his spot.
He was in position take a big hit on the pass over the middle in the game winning drive and didn't flinch. Even the dropped TD there was no indication that he flinched or was positioning his body to absorb a hit, he just missed it. That doesn't make it acceptable, but I disagree with your assessment as to the cause.

I honestly don't think he has regressed. He missed games with injuries, and played some with a backup QB, and the team has put a much bigger emphasis on the running game this year, which limits opportunities. The team is averaging about 7 fewer pass attempts per game this year.

That said, he still may not get the big contract because fewer yards and catches will be factored into the negotiation whether they reflect his play or not, and the team is clearly using Ferguson in the mix this year and could decide to go with the trio of Ferguson, Hendershot and McKeon next year.

Why didn't the Texans kick a fg???

Instead of that QB sneak from the 3.5 yard line?? That play was worse than Josh Allens and Mark Sanchez's but fumble

5Stars---come on fellow zoner.....lets not give up and wave white flag before war even begins....i know Cowboys will beat the dress wearing Sheagles on Christmas Eve.....every game is different.....the whole

team yesterday for 56-57 minutes played like total wusses....then they rised up....made all time goal. line stand to cause Texans to turn ball over and with 3 minutes left Dak marched team down and got TD

which also by the way Gallup was robbed of TD...once you possess in end zone TD....the whole catch rule is irrelevent but since no one anymore knows what a catch it Gallup got robbed....but that is beside

point.....Zeke plowed through with 40 seconds left to secure the win.....maybe when you tell a team you have the highest margin of victory so far this year in NFL it softens the killer instinct needed to play

this game????.....dont go by the game yesterday to judge the team....on paper i already said the Sheagles and 40-Whiners are better teams than Cowboys....but come game day with them....they will be

waving white flag....how we ended game yesterday will do a lot for our confidence when another crunch time comes

lol...I don't own a white flag. I have the real one. I don't know what will happen, no one knows.

I do have to admit, now that you brought war into it...triggered me...come on now, I have PTSD.
I'm more concerned with the Jaguars. I can't project, but I will. The Cowboys will lose to them kitty cats.

so you don't think losing Cooper and Jarwin kinda turned Schultz back into the 4 TD a year te that he was 2 years ago?

very fair points. Perhaps regression is too strong a word. He’s had enough time after the injurie to get back on track but his play has been inconsistent. It was prudent to franchise him but the surprising emergence of Hendershot and Ferguson should give pause to a normal GM from overpaying him when others will have to get paid as well

Jarwin missed half the games last year and only had 17 targets and 11 receptions for 93. He was pretty much a non-factor last year.

Again, I think injury, playing several games with a backup QB and heavier emphasis on the run game than in the past have all taken a toll on the TD count.

Last year the team ran the ball 41% of the time, this year it's 48%.

Last year the team averaged 2.4 passing TD's per game. This year 1.5 passing TD's per game. Passing/Receiving TD's are down for the entire team, not just one player.

This is how I know you are clueless when it comes to this sport

it takes an absolute rookie to put this kind of assumption together

what happens one week has absolutely zero bearing on what happens another week. There are literally thousands of examples.

but you aren’t smart enough to know this

maybe because Coop had 8 tds, Jarwin has 3, and Wilson had 6??? That's about 1 TD a game

Looks to me like the other wrs and tes couldn't pick up that slack after all.

I know all the scoring is coming from Zeke and Pollard cuz these wrs and tes scored way more last year

It kinda puts a lot more pressure on the rbs

If they hit a scoring slump whose gonna score??

None of these wrs or tes have many tds if any at all against any really good teams outside of Pollard and Zeke or Dak

If they don't score we're pretty much kicking fgs all day and relying on our sts and defense to score

Cowboys (and their fans) just need to focus on the upcoming opponent - Jacksonville Jaguars.

the players will, but they will also review game film to address and hopefully fix issues. After that they focus on how to best dissect the Jags.

The fans in the forum here will do roughly the same. Cover the good bad and ugly of the last game and discuss on how the Boys will beat the Jags

Had to watch the game on the PVR, and figured TP was hurt...the cameras, make no mistake played up what was going on
yeah jerry wants z in there, and maybe they wanted to rest pollard, thought they could win easily without him.
either one is a possibility.

jags just beat Tenn, and they said trevor was playing very good.
jags still have a shot at the div title, and maybe a wc, but they have to beat
cowboys to keep those hopes alive.

I havent seen them play at all, might watch that tenn game.
