The only thing this win tells me is we will get smashed in two weeks by the Eagles

Philly was coming back to win and then Washington beat them on a fluke fumble and a penalty

It wasn't like their QB through a sdupid int in their own end zone at the 2 yard line

Dak to no come back Dalton lol

There was like 5-6 passes that got batted up or coulda got picked today because of no separation.

As long as we're dinking and dunking to a possession receiving te that can't score just like we did #82 for 15 years I'm out!!

I've seen and relived all those 10 receptions 98 yards zero td playoff and elimination games from #82 that we lost a dozen times. And this was the most memorable one of all.

Seattle Vs Dallas 2006 wildcard game
We're losing 21-20
3rd and 7 on Seattle's 8 yard line and Romo throws it #82 for 7.85 yards

It's originally called a first down but after further review he was short. He couldn't move that ball a couple of inches so 4th down we have to kick a fg

Romo fumbles the snap and it's game over Seattle wins

All cuz #82 couldn't get it done barf barf barf

I swear Martellus would have scored a TD or got that first down.

I was sick and depressed for weeks over that moronic play

That's what happens when you don't score like schultskowski somebody has to do it for ya and ya fumble the snap instead. Lol

Never was a fan of witten after that and losing Marty b. Schultz can't score either.

Sorry

.
Didn't Schultz score a td just last week? Our TE group has been pretty darn good. As for Witten, HOF. Nuf said.

You really should have started from 1960 and picked out a bunch of "past" blunders.

What was the score of the eagles/Texans game?
Yep that's true. Eagles struggled with them and Indy - same two weak teams we struggled with.

I don't really know what that means other than I thought the Eagles were vulnerable after those two games and then they have gone on a tear since!

Yet shegales are awesome and we suck.

He dropped a sure TD yesterday would have changed the game as well as another bad route that kept his defender to close to anther WR, this has happened a few times on INTs .. dropped few actually some tougher then yesterday , sorry there were mistakes but the entire team that led to us needing miracle stop and drive. It happened, we won..
time to move on to the Jags.,

Nothing to smile about since Davis Mills was able to move the Ball up and down the field. I can only imagine what Hurts will do.
Mills only had 175 yards. That's hardly moving the ball at will.

This was about the Cowboys being sloppy as hell and making a lot of mistakes, including 3 turnovers.

Maybe that means the Eagles will beat up on the Cowboys, but the previous 3 games the Cowboys looked like a juggernaut, so what this game taught is you can't be sure of future games based on the past ones.

Conversely, the Eagles have looked like a juggernaut the last 2-3 games, but they didn't look like that for several games before, and even lost to Washington, so clearly that stretch of less impressive games didn't define them going forward.

Plus Houston only averaged like 3.1 or something on the ground. The Cowboys defense didnt play bad at all, they just didnt look dominant in terms of pass rush this week.

I think a lot with the pass rush was the Texans rarely ran a play that required letting longer routes develop. Other than a few cases the pass plays were designed to get the ball out of the QB's hands quickly

Cowboys beat the Eagles on Christmas Eve. Lose to them if they play in the playoffs.

BINGO!

For the most part, I think any fan is delusional because Cowboys fans are really no better "mentality wise" than any other fan out there.

All I read this past week was how the cowboys were going to destroy the Texans. It didn't happen, and the boys squeaked out a win, absolutely no different than the Eagles did. Same thing happened to most Cowboys fans, both teams are overrated and suck.

I said on those "we're going to kill those Texans" threads the same here, one game at a time, the most important is the one coming up, and don't get caught looking into the future because once you start to do that, it won't happen like your thinking. On any given Sunday, one far less superior team can play better than their superior opponent.

Last year if you were told the cowboys would be at 10-3, would you be complaining about it?

Plus, if anyone has been paying attention to our history, we aren't the scary 90's Cowboys. Back then, we COULD take a week off and laugh and stick out our chests and say "watch this massacre". It's not just us; most teams don't get to be that cocky in today's NFL. Sure, some teams do, but they have to be powerhouse, very well-coached teams. We just aren't. We're better. We're good. We're even very good, with our standard limitations. Not 90's good.

I was in Tn where the game was not televised. I was just able to catch the highlights. I did not realize he made some mistakes. Dallas did a lot of "not so good" yesterday but you are correct. They did win.

absolute perfect Dime thrown to 86 and it hit him in the numbers and he flat dropped it, same with Gallup 2 tds that were on the money. Washington had a first down 18 yard catch, catch, hit and he coughed it up nearly a fumble, many poor plays made in all phases.

Next up Jags

After these Week 14 games, I surely question this team's toughness and ability to hang with the Eagles and 49ers who play at a higher level of physicality.

Schultz made a few mistakes.

He makes all his money between the 1 yard lines because he's allergic to scoring. He always comes up short everytime just like 82 did

He couldn't score against a good team in the regular season much less the playoffs.

If he's not wide open by 3-4 yards he's worse than CeeDee on drops and batted balls are usually picks.

He doesn't have the talent to be a top 3 target because he can't score

If Zeke, Pollard, or Dak doesn't score afterwords we're bumming.

I can't believe we traded Cooper to play Witten ball urgh

It was week 18
True. But it's the Eagles.

If we lose next week I could see them coasting through this game to avoid injuries esp at QB

This is our SB.

You know it would be dejecting for the team if Philly just let us have one

They gotta keep the hype up on the NFC East to sell tickets

I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles

Its the game 4 days later on grass against the titans I'm worried about

Thanks for the portion in all caps - as if that somehow makes your post mean something more than it does ....

BTW, since I never suggested the team can get away with making mistakes against the Eagles it seems your all caps portion was wasted on an effort to make a point that wasn't in dispute.

The Titans vs the Cowboys on grass

2 very similar teams that have a run first mentality and a game mgr QB that use a lot of dual tes

Derek Henry vs our RB committee of Pollard and Zeke

At te they have Okonkwo at te and Hooper (and Swaim) and we have Schultzkowski and at least one of those rookies

Tennessee has lost 3 in a row and I figure they'll bounce back and find a streak and finish up about 10-7 which means they should win about 3 of 4.

The cowboys should pretty much have the wild card game sewn up.

And everybody knows our kryptonite is on Grass against a good QB

I think Henry is a way better rb committee on grass

Plus I think their te core is a better

I think Dak is better than Tannehill but I think Tannehill will get up for the boys at home w a playoff berth on the line.

We are coming off a game against Philly and going on the road on grass w 4 days notice

This team should be pretty banged up even if they win at home against Philly

I'ma put my money on the NFLs best power back at home on Grass over Dash and Hope

Because we don't have that grass pedigree. I just hope we're the favorites by at least 1 point hehehe
