Nope, the Cowboys will play a lot better in that game. But they'll stink it up again next week against the Jags.

Quinn's challenge will be to train the DEs to never crash down to stop the run. Whoever is at DE HAS to stay home and just wait for the PA fake keeper with Hurtz and pound him in the backfield when he keeps it. Let the other lineman and LBs stop the inside run. This will be a real challenge with the Dee line rotation because a squad of DEs will have to be disciplined, EVERY DOWN. They couldn't even consistently stop Mills today because the DEs crashed too hard.

If the Cowboys makes sure to shut down the PA pass by having the unblocked DE just play Hurtz aggressively every down, the Cowboys have a good chance. Otherwise, they'll just run and throw all over the Cowboys' defense.

Basically, stop the run (Hurtz included) and run the ball, with the Cowboy's own liberal use of PA, early.

I was trying to understand his point of "what was eagles score against texans?", as if that was supposed to prove something. Eagles beat them handedly, and that was before they started tanking games.

In a Week-to-Week league, it's hard to say any game says much about another.

Every game can take a life of it's own. Each game is different. Last weekend's 50 burger and this week has no bearing on the playoffs or even next week. Like you said, it's literally a week to week league. I think what tripped us up this week is the focus on the OBJ circus and looking ahead to the Eagles.

Prediction. If the Cowboys lose to the Eagles, there's going to be a lot of "I told you so." threads from those on this forum who has the Eagles being head and shoulders better than the Cowboys.

Exactly. If the Cowboys team that showed up against the Vikings shows up we will destroy the Eagles. It's a week to week league and I will take a win all day long over a loss. We are 10-3 right now and some people are acting like we suck.

I'm happy cause I don't care about stats or looking pretty. This isn't a beauty pageant, it's football where it's all about winning games.

I can't complain at 10-3, get healthy and stack another win next week.
