The other options at RB

Stop.

Just stop.
I would prefer a 2nd rounder backed up by a 3rd rounder instead of a 1st rounder backed up by an undrafted rookie free agent.

The talent on this team has to be distributed more evenly. You can't win a championship with 5 All Pros and 50 bubble players.

lol no they were not all kind of passes

Jeanty played against HBCUs? Oregon State and U of O. Wyoming. San Jose. Nevada. San Diego State. UNLV. Hawaii. Utah State. Washington State. Portland State. Georgia Southern. Penn State.

Only of of those states has ANY HBCUs. Georgia does but Georgia Southern isn't one of them.

Same deal with JCs. University is literally in the name of all of the schools he played last year. Pssst. Jucos are not universities.

Stop just saying stuff without checking your biases at the door. I know that you have role models who just say crazy stuff with no basis in reality but, the grown ups are trying to have a serious discussion here.
you’re funny, I said all those teams. Defenses were equivalent to D2s,smallD1s, JCs, HBCUs and top High school defenses.
In other words those defenses were trash!!!
The other RBs played against waaaay tougher defenses

How would you rank Boise's OLine?

Again I like his ability and would be ok if we drafted him, I trust the Cowboys organization, I stand by what I said he’s not RB1 in this draft there’s at least 4 better than him, who played against real defenses

Unfortunately no one else believes that.

Find me a mock draft that has a RB going before Jeanty.
Bruh, you’re talking about mock drafts, man get on with that, those clowns don’t know jack, do you see how many they come up with lol they change like the wind, lol they definitely are not experts

Like Oregon and Penn State?

Anyone read how many carries Jeanty had in college? (it's a lot)

RB at #12 overall is bad roster building. Trade down or take OL, DL, WR. or CB at that spot.

Dallas made a mistake not taking a RB in either of the last 2 drafts. Don't overcompensate now. RB at #12 is a sugar high- a luxury Dallas can't afford with all of its needs. Trading down a little and taking Hampton sounds ideal.
Although I'd take Jeanty in a flash if he is there at 12, I think the most likely scenario is he'll be gone.

Even though I've changed my outlook and wouldn't mind if we traded up for one of the blue chips (Hunter, Carter, Graham or Jeanty), the realist in me says it's in our best interest to trade down somewhere between our pick and 22.

I think the positions we need the most have better value a little lower than we pick. If we want an offensive lineman, tight end or defensive end, then we'd be better off staying where we are. But if we want a receiver, running back, cornerback or even a defensive tackle, the value is likely better with a trade down (Golden, Burden, Egkuba, Hampton, Johnson, Barron, Harmon, Grant, Nolen). I think one or more of the group I listed will be there as late as 22 because there are a few other DEs, OL, a couple of safeties and a second tight end who fall in that range, along with a LB.

Yes, they change like the wind, but Jeanty is always the first RB chosen.

Dane Brugler has Jeanty ranked 3 overall. I believe that he is correct. He is easily a top 5 player.
