The same could be said about Dallas, i.e., the Houston game, the St. Louis game and the Seattle game.
I know we don't like the Eagles, but there's no reason to say they're not a good team. Their record say they are just as our record says the same thing.

We dominated Seattle, were in control all game against Houston and came back from 21 down without getting calls or 21 points off of returns against STL.

They are an extremely flawed team. Gimmick offense that can't score in the redzone. Inconsistent running game. Bad tackling on defense. Dallas is a much more complete football team.

GB is simply destroying people. Ever since that final drive comeback to beat Miami, they have been on a mission......They are the one team in the NFC that I fear.

Rogers is damn good. Probably the best in the NFL right now. I certainly wouldn't want to play them at Lambeau either.

However, this team is much more built for the upcoming cold weather games than any Cowboys team in recent memory. We know it and the team knows it. Those messy, cold weather games are going to be Cowboy games and teams had better start worrying about Dallas these days.

They look a lot like they did in 2011 when they went 15-1 destroying everyone.

Their bad defense and lack of pass rush caught up with them playoffs that year and they had a first round exit.

This year they have a slightly below average defense. Cruddy against the run and pretty decent against the pass.

They've been beat pretty soundly in 3 games so they are definitely beatable. I will say this -- if a team can't get a pass rush on Rodgers I don't think the Packers can be beat.

The 1998 Vikings, 2007 Patriots and 2013 Broncos all had ridiculously high-scoring offenses..............and none of them won a Super Bowl.

Other teams always look better when your own team is on a bye, and your overrated divisional leader gets exposed for what they are.

I think that the cardinals defense is going to hard to score on if they get home field in the playoffs. I see them slowing the packers down. also remember the packers a couple years ago were 15-1 and got beat against a wildcard team in the giants. the giants ran the ball and kept the packers offense off the field. I hope that the cowboys can have a chance to face the packers. I think if the running is working they can keep it close and maybe win it.

The Cardinals won't go far in the playoffs with Drew freaking Stanton.

Johnny Unitas?

Forget about the "respect for past generations" angle and be honest with yourself. Do you REALLY believe Unitas could do the things Rodgers does today? The mobility plus the ridiculously pin-point accuracy?

your probably right. I watched there game today and he was pretty bad overall except for the couple of long td passes. if the cardinals had a dominate running game they could win the nfc with that defense they have and still could if they get the right turnovers to get easy scores. they will not need a elite qb to win

So sick of these threads:

Weeks 1-3 - New thread "The Seahawks are scary"
Weeks 4-7 - New thread "The Broncos/Cards are scary"
Weeks 6-10- New Thread "The Eagles are scary"
Weeks 11- New Thread "The Packers are scary"

This is a week to week league and none of these teams are as good or scary as people like the OP are making them out to be. The only team that's scary is the team that wins the Super Bowl.

I'll lay odds GB is there in the end

Rodgers is the prototypical QB for today's pass friendly NFL. Who knows what some of the greats from yesteryear could do in today's NFL with highly liberalized passing rules?

How would Dan Marino do today? How about Dan Fouts? How about Otto Grahm? How about Roger Staubach? etc etc

Having said that, Rodgers makes playing the hardest position in the NFL (QB) look ridiculously easy and he does it in such a effortless manner.

I'll say it again. They look good -- much like they did in 2011. They are certainly are beatable and I think the Cowboys running game is well suited to giving the Packers's 30th ranked rush defense everything they can handle.

This team isn't going to be easy to beat this year. They just made a pretty good Eagles team (as much as that pains to say :) ) look like the worst team in the league.

They have not played the Cowboys yet.

The Eagles aren't a pretty good team.

They are a .500 team that got breaks to give them 3 wins.
Sproles and McCoy are what makes them go...Sanchez just got exposed. Silly thing what a little game film will do...

Yes and no.

We've seen this movie before. Offenses scoring mondo points and the checkin out of playoffs early.
