I don't really care what they look like now. We need to just get into the playoffs and we can see what they look like then.

The Eagles are overrated. The Cowboys aren't perfect, but they should at least split with them if not sweep them. Should be interesting.

They're definitely hot. There's a lot of football left to go, yet. They just did us a big favor, and I'm thankful for it. Plus, I think we'll match up much better with them than the Eagles did.
With luck, we're also able to make the Eagles look silly. Twice. And maybe a playoff game or two will go through Dallas for the first time in a long time.

This team isn't going to be easy to beat this year. They just made a pretty good Eagles team (as much as that pains to say :) ) look like the worst team in the league.
Alot of teams have looked like the best team this yr. One thing has held true through the whole yr. Nobody can stop Dallas from running the ball. If Romo can stay healthy i dont think there is a team in the NFL whos defense can hold up to this OL. They make the games shorter and keep theopposing teams offense on the sidelines. There isnt a team in the NFL who can do this week in and week out. Instead of worrying about the Packers i still say i still dont see a team who can stop this running game.

So sick of these threads:

Weeks 1-3 - New thread "The Seahawks are scary"
Weeks 4-7 - New thread "The Broncos/Cards are scary"
Weeks 6-10- New Thread "The Eagles are scary"
Weeks 11- New Thread "The Packers are scary"

This is a week to week league and none of these teams are as good or scary as people like the OP are making them out to be. The only team that's scary is the team that wins the Super Bowl.

Amen to that. Packers have 3 losses, 2 of them are to teams the Cowboys beat - Saints and Seattle

You look at the Packers weakness its against the run. I could see the Cowboys traveling well to a cold weather city like Green Bay. First time in years i feel comfortable saying that.

The saints beat the packers soundly 2 weeks ago. Rodgers has been playing great ball but they r not invincible.

Aaron Rogers is scary. The rest of that team seems very average to me.

Its called a gimmick offense. All that hurry up keeps the opposing team from subs. Thats how they create mismatches. kind of disppointed in GB because theyre one of the iconic NFL franchises and for them to resort to that IMO is just disappointing. Seems like the only ones not going to this type of offense are the Cowboys and Steelers. They play straight up football. Guess its the sign of the times. But i just hate what the NFL has become in all its gimick plays rules and the bull they try to feed on rules being for safety but the offense can still blindside on turnovers and chop block.

Really, someone go back and dig up these same type of posts during the Eagles/Panthers game. Several in that thread were scared to death of the Iggles.

They have the bears and eagles coming up. I see some dominating short games there with that weather. Alot of 12 and 22 personel

They're scary at home but all 3 of their losses have been decisive defeats on the road.

I can't see how this Cowboys defense would stop Rodgers. Of course, the Cowboys defense has stopped seemingly invincible offenses before (2009 Saints,) but that was then and this is now; entirely new defense.

The Eagles aren't a pretty good team.

They are a .500 team that got breaks to give them 3 wins.

The same could be said about Dallas, i.e., the Houston game, the St. Louis game and the Seattle game.
I know we don't like the Eagles, but there's no reason to say they're not a good team. Their record say they are just as our record says the same thing.

Wish we can just win the division and avoid the tundra talks , unless GB wins their division and gets top two seeds we don't have to go to tundra.

Very true. I'm an old school guy, and honestly I think the hurry up is a bit of a fad. I hate to say fad as i don't see it completely going away, but i see it trending back down in years to come. It seems like we are seeing smaller, faster linebackers to try and counter act the speed, and hurry up play of offenses. It sets up a team like Dallas perfectly who can play an old school smash mouth type of offense. I see more offenses loading up on big o linemen, and pounding the football on undersized defenses. It seems like in the end teams always resort back to the basics.

1 part GB being good and 1 part Philly getting exposed as a team that has greatly benefited with some very fortunate special teams plays....week after week..

St Louis, maybe. We controlled that SEA game from start to finish.
