Better to fear them?
Ok you go ahead and do that if it makes you feel better super fan.

Unfortunately, I think the team fears them which is why we don’t do well against them. On the other hand, they love playing the Cowboys, because they’ve had so much success against them. They both own the Cowboys. I think most fans would like to have the easiest route to advancing in the playoffs. It’s been so bad for the Cowboys the last 2+ decades that fans are just desperate to see the team win a divisional round game. I’m a realistic fan that calls it like I see it and I don’t see our defense holding up against either one of those QBs in the playoffs especially on the road. The Cowboys are 0-8 in road playoff games since the 92 season.

"I Want Candy"
A song written and originally recorded by the band The Strangeloves way back in 1965.
Over the past 50 years or so, the tune has been covered by a few artists :
Bow Wow Wow
Candy Girls
Aaron Carter
Melody C.

I like the Bow Wow Wow version best. I remember when that version came out...cool song.
I miss the 80's...music back then was fun.

We wouldn’t be playing the Packers until the NFCCG and they’d have knocked off Philly by then. If we play them in the postseason it will be at a stage we haven’t been too in 27 years.

I welcome it because at least we are there.

Yes, I know we're 0-8 in that span.
I want to break through all of that and do it against the best...that's all.
No matter how just win and get our #6.

As the Classic Rock, Tradtional Soul + R&B took a step back, along with Disco reaching its zenith in th 70's
--- new artists appeared that eschewed ballads and angst songs to create music that was just about partying = having a good time going out (and even staying in and enjoying th3 tunes).
The music video revolution help skyrocketed that era of goodtime \ sing-a--long \ "do your dance" era.

The whole point this time of year is to not only make the playoffs, but to try and position yourself the best you can for the playoffs. Which is why everyone is battling for seeding. The easier the route to the Super Bowl the better the chance of getting there. Be honest who would you rather face in the first round of the playoffs Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, or Sam Darnold? Some fans will say Carolina is the better team, therefore they would rather face the Packers or the Bucs. What ultimately gives you the best chance to win in the playoffs is facing the lesser QB because they influence the outcome of games more than any other position. This is why it’s mostly the QB that wins league MVPs and Super Bowl MVPs. Most games in the playoffs come down to the QB having to make a play.

I have a lot more confidence that we could stop Sam Darnold than stopping Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady with a playoff game on the line. When you look at the defense the Cowboys have currently they’re not going to hold up in the playoffs against a future Hall of Fame QB. They may have a tough time holding up against Sam Darnold or any QB because we’ve given up over 650 passing yards and 5 TD passes the last two games but I like my chances a lot better against Darnold. We beat him the last time we faced him. If anyone is going to cough the ball up in a critical situation, the odds are a lot better it’s going to be Sam Darnold than Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady. Those two QBs find ways to win games, and they’ve done it against the Cowboys more than once.

I don't care what any QB did to the Cowboys in the past. It comes down to how bad you want it in my book. This years team has shown me enough to get the job done. No matter who they face I believe in them. I'll wait for your 3 paragraph response.

You sound like a rah-rah fan and there’s a lot of them here. I’m much more of a realist. The Cowboys defense isn’t playing near well enough to get past the first round of the playoffs in my opinion. If Hankins and LVE can return for the playoffs hopefully that will improve us. If our defense/pass rush was what it was earlier in the season I would like our chances in the playoffs. Our offense is more than good enough to win in the playoffs, however I can’t see it overcoming our defense.

If they do, history will show that this streak started in the 4th quarter and through overtime of their win over the Cowboys when they shut out our offense. I don’t make these rules, I just observe them

I can see it because I think we're hungry and I think we're due.
Get on board bro
Go Cowboys!

We certainly didn’t look hungry against the Packers and Jaguars. I am on board with what’s going on while you’re riding the bandwagon. Better buckle up! Lol

Yes, better to look at the more "realistic" approach of losing a road playoff game? I guess that's much more fun, enjoyable and the "safe" way to go for some here....pathetic.

If your hopes in the playoffs are sky high with the way the defense is playing you better be prepared to get burned again. I’m sure you thought they were capable of going deep in the playoffs last season.

I really don't mind winning ugly anymore and that has been my "realistic" approach to our playoff games for a long time now. You should try it. Do I want to shut out every team we play...of course I do.

Don’t know how long you’ve been following football but it’s very difficult to win ugly in the playoffs, especially on the road. Except for Cowboys most teams have a big advantage playing at home in the playoffs. Even the Cowboys led by the triplets in the 90s only won one road playoff game and that was arguably the greatest Cowboys team ever.

If you have watched as much football as I have then you should know that the past means jack **** in today's NFL. Your take is nauseating I'm going to bed.

Go Cowboys!

If the past doesn’t mean Jack then the people who get paid to talk football wouldn’t keep brining up the Cowboys 0-7 record against Tom Brady and their 0-8 road playoff record since their last road playoff win in 92. There’s a thing called trends. It doesn’t mean the Cowboys can’t beat Tom Brady or win a road playoff game, but their odds aren’t very good.

I ran the numbers. The three wild card teams will be us, Giants and Washington. Then we hope Giants and Washington win their games so when we play them at home.
