Of the 90's was intense, brings back memories of the good old days. I believe with Rodgers we might have won the 1995 NFC Championship game lets just say if Rodgers was that age then. Favre had a knack of giving games away in the clutch. I just rewatched that game and man we almost had you guys. Dallas was the better team in those years though. I miss the rivalry between Doug Evans and Michael Irvin when they lined up against each other. You guys remember all the Packer Cowboy games of the 90's and where you were especially the 1995 NFC Title game? Much respect to the Cowboys and their organization from a Packers fan. I don't think we play this year but maybe we will have our first playoff meeting since the 95 title game.

I was 12 during the game. And yeah I got a little nervous in the second half but Emmitt took over at the end of the game and the Larry Brown int pretty much sealed it. One of our all time great games to be honest.

I remember the Title Game and it was a good one.

What made it so sweet was hearing all the whining and crying from Reggie White. Never cared for him much and the whining was primarily why.

Frankly I never thought too much of it; the Pack were our little brothers that we smacked around while wondering what San Fran was up to. Don't get me wrong, I could see the writing on the wall that they were eventually going to be the best team in the NFC. I always wondered if Packer fans were mad that they never got to knock us off after we ended their season three years in a row (plus 4 regular season losses, all strangely in Dallas). But the Panthers stopped us in '96 and we were never relevant again. I guess you'll always have that '97 regular season beating. :)

I don't know how GB would do but Dallas had your number, even Garrett had a big day vs the Pack. I was at that game catching hell from Packer fans but they all shut up later as Dallas came back with Jason behind center. lol

We gloat about our success againts GB (90s), but the OP's point about Farve holds very true. HE gave away games, esp in TX stadium. What is the stat line of him @ DAL? Always bombed.

He was always so amped up that he had a lot of overthrows especially early in games. Also he never liked the fact that our field sloped to the sidelines and complained about it a time or two.
The thing I remember is how frustrated that packer d line would get as the game wore on. Didn't help that an Eric Williams chop block put brown out of the game. Their run defense wasn't the same afterwards .

In the early 90s the Cowboys were so good the Packers didn't have a chance even if Favre would have played perfectly.

In the later games, Aikman not making mistakes vs Favre's carelessness may have been the difference.

This aspect always intrigued me about ol Texas Stadium? Some QBs loved it, some hated it.

I was a youngin @ the time so won't claim perfect memory, etc. I felt they were a legitimate threat a few games, but Farve took care of that, etc.?

Those were interesting games to watch.

Watching the best two WRs in the NFL not named Jerry Rice in Irvin and Sterling Sharpe play in those game was fun.

I believe Sharpe had 4 TD receptions in one of those games -- maybe the one JG was the QB for.
