Rodgers has never won in Dallas either. Matt Flynn has done something both Rodgers and Favre have never did. Not to talk trash or disrespect the cowboys though. You guys are like our brothers.

He won the SB game in JerryWorld right?

I know what you mean though.

Can someone delete my avatar lol. I never put that on there. You Dallas fans are funny putting that on there lol.

I'm not sure why you quoted my post asking for the deletion but anyway. Ask a moderator. I had nothing to do with that.

Well were both America's team.

Why is that so important to every other team that Dallas is known as America's team?

I personally don't get anything out of it, .. but a lot of Cowboy fans get all jacked up about it, .. and it seems to rile up opposing fans something fierce.

90's my *** it was the 60's dude.
Packers of the 90's with BF was not a BfD, now Vince lead teams against Tom and that was something else. TL never beat VL when he coached the packers, that didn't come until he was in Washington, where I believe Vince never beat Tom.

Ok, a twist. Of these two franchises with such incredible histories -- name the top 3 players at each position from each team since 1960 (sorry, I refuse to look up pre-1960 Packers) and name a winner at the position. Requirement: Player had to play 5 years for one of the teams. Who has the best selection of players in the end?

I'll start with QB:

Quarterback:

Cowboys: Staubach, Aikman, Romo
Packers: Starr, Favre, Rodgers

If I had to rank these guys it would be and assign a point value to each:

Staubach (6 points)
Starr (5 points)
Favre (4 point)
Aikman (3 points)
Rodgers (2 points)
Romo (1 point)

Cowboys: 10 points, Packers 11 Points (Winner)

Commentary: Only argument here is Favre vs Aikman in my mind. Depending on how you view them, the winner of this category flip flops. To early to rank Romo or Rodgers higher.

Running Back

Cowboys: Smith, Dorsett, Hershel Walker
Packers: Jim Taylor, Ahman Green, Dorsey Levens

If I had to rank these guys it would be and assign a point value to each:

Smith (6 Points)
Dorsett (5 Points)
Jim Taylor (4 points)
Walker (3 point)
Ahman Green (2 points)
Dorsey Levens (1 point)

Cowboys: 14 points (Winner), Packers 7 points

Anybody want to take a crack at WR (wow, Irvin, Hayes, Sharpe, Lofton, etc, etc)?

The cowboys are a great team. Always have been and still are.

Uh, ... not really.

Not if you are going to use the word 'great'.

.500 record for 17-18 seasons is not 'great'.

I know you are trying not to step on toes here, or be confrontational, .. but that is a little over the top.

We still love'em like they were great, but we realize that they aren't.

Of the 90's was intense, brings back memories of the good old days. I believe with Rodgers we might have won the 1995 NFC Championship game lets just say if Rodgers was that age then. Favre had a knack of giving games away in the clutch. I just rewatched that game and man we almost had you guys. Dallas was the better team in those years though. I miss the rivalry between Doug Evans and Michael Irvin when they lined up against each other. You guys remember all the Packer Cowboy games of the 90's and where you were especially the 1995 NFC Title game? Much respect to the Cowboys and their organization from a Packers fan. I don't think we play this year but maybe we will have our first playoff meeting since the 95 title game.

We didn't consider it a rivalry.

What I always say to a Packers fan: Tony Mandarich, Tony Mandarich, Tony Mandarich
