Am I alone in thinking that the Pacman fiasco has contributed to the team losing two games that they should have won? I know that it is not the only problem out there, because the Bengals were in a game that should not have been close, but still, the past two games showed a team that ws not even prepared to play.

Am I alone in thinking that Pacman has ruined this team? Aside from leaving them in the lurch with his suspension, the distractions must have been huge.

Between his drama and whether TO is gonna blow up because he didn;t get as many carries as Marion Barber, is it possible that this team is just fed up with prima donnas?

Please... Pac-man was our best player in the secondary and the only one who forced a TO and recovered a TO...

No-like I said before...Jerry knew he was taking a risk signing AJ, so he made a deal to where he would net 2 2nd day picks if he screwed up again. He screwed up, we got those extra day picks in return. No harm, no foul.

And no-all that Owens drama was blown out of proportion anyways. Besides-Barber's fumbling concerns me...maybe that's why the coaches are hesitant to give him more carries.

Thank you! I was just about to say the same thing -- Pacman isn't the problem, he was actually playing at a much higher level than most of our Really Talented Players.

But yeah, let's blame Pacman, just because he shot a guy. Sheesh.

If the guy could catch this year, he'd have like 2 sure interceptions, with probably a couple of them returned for a TD, or at least great field position...

Like I told all the Pacman-haters...good luck over the next 4 weeks with our 2 rookies taking most of the snaps.

Sure-it's better for teams to have a great morale...but at the same time, it's not like you'll win Super Bowls with a bunch of scrub players no matter how great characters they are. Why not bring back Jacques Reeves?

Without Pacman, we would probably lose the Cincy game. Heck, you could probably add either the GB or the Cleveland game to boot.

I'm hardly defending what Pacman did to warrant a 4 game suspension, and yes, he's a pain in the ***...but really, we wouldn't be 4-3 without him.

Pac-man Jones should have flat-out be starting when he returns and Newmna returns. Anthony Henry needs to play a back-up role or move to free safety, cause he gets flat-out burned.

There's a reason why we're the only team in the NFL that will touch him with a 20 foot pole. The other 30 NFL general managers aren't dummies.

Jimmy Johnson said it best after the game ... this looked like a team that was totally distracted by a media circus all week.

I don't think it helps but no I don't blame the Pacman situation for the poor play we saw this past weekend.

Imagine this team at the Super Bowl, when their is a media circus... Please... this is another BS analysis... Do you think that no team would want him, if it weren't for the Goodell's targetting him... Pleasee...

The fact is Pac-man can play much better than the majority of our secondary... In fact, he was playing better than Newman, if not as good as him...

I believe other teams like the Pats and Saints were interested at one point.

We shouldn't have even touched this guy with a 30 foot pole, I agree. However-with Newman injured and 2 rookies high on the depth chart, we would probably be 2-5 instead w/o the services of Pacman.

jerry toying with the idea of bringing him back for a second tour is not helping either. there is no accountability in dallas. pretty soon nobody will be held accountable for mistakes. wait, we're beyond that point. pac man killed us.

Is this Jerry "I've never seen distractions make a difference on the field" Jones?

How can people think this wasn't a distraction?

I don't understand why people don't get that these aren't robots. When these players have to deal with a billion questions about a jerk like Pacman, of course it affects them.

Some people seem to think that this really is Madden and ability is all that matters.

I agreed with him 100%. Football teams do not live in microcasms. People like to say that the media speculation which is generated from roster moves, player soundbites, off-the-field antics, etc., do not effect a team's focus, but it can happen. Even the strongest willed coach will have difficulty keeping his players' eyes fixed on a goal every game. Last week would have stranded the concentration of any team, but this team was already setup to stumble and it showed yesterday.

Well-put it this way-since Darren Woodson went down, our secondary has been in shambles.

Even with NO distractions since then, our secondary has been the biggest weak link(and the biggest complaint on this board) since '04. Even last year, it was a weak link with our ultra-thin depth.

Hey-the fans here were begging for Jerry to make cornerback depth a priority in the offseason. They got their wish when he traded for AJ(at a bargain basement deal, that is).

Totally different media environment. Goodell "targeting"Adam? Yeah, right.

Adam painted his own target. Pretty hard to miss.

Who were the other teams that , key word here, "wanted" Adam?

I keep hearing you say this. I didn't see that, at all. I wonder what Fitzgerald would say about that?
