we draft in the middle because we play 50-50 football. When it was 16 games, it was 8/8. Yes I’d rather know we can win every game. We step on the field to play. They lose for three or four seasons to get a better draft pick. I’ll take winning regular season games every single day of the week, if a championship comes, it comes. I’m not tanking to win a championship.

Jimmy did not build it, they Both built it.
That is a ridiculous statement. Jimmy built it by himself. Lol.
this is the first season out of the last four we didn’t make the playoffs. That seems like improvement to me.
Jerry is definitely more of the problem than the solution.

There will always be a HC to take the blame for this FO's inadequacy and refusal to change. MM is just the latest on the list. He may not be the best one yet to coach this team but he's good. No capable HC with good skills will be likely to win big with this FO's problems to overcome. The next one would be just as likely to be noted in Jerry's blame list. The FO is where this team's big problems begin. Another HC victim won't help.

You don't think 4 highly paid players, drafting 8 rookies, and signing another 10 undrafted players, to go along with 10 FA that no other teams want will be a recipe for success in the playoffs.

I am not buying into the hype of mobility. Brady just recently retired.

You need expert pocket awareness and elite ball placement with a decent/strong arm along with elite defense recognition to do what Brady, Brees, Peyton, and Elway did in their late 30’s too early 40’s. Basically, every single QB to play great ball once they got to those ages had these qualities. They all eventually declined. Most of them-even the HOF variety started their decline in their late 30’s. Look at Aaron Rodgers, who cannot consistently run away from pressure and play junkyard football half the plays.

I cannot understand what the big deal is to easily recognize that while Dak was not ever fleet of foot or dynamic as a runner-it WAS a major contributor to many seasons of success. He would evade pressure or would be tacklers with strength and some measure of running to eventually throw the ball downfield. Even Brady had to slide and slip within the pocket, but later in his career he would basically never hold the ball long. Dak has never been like those hallowed QB’s-he never will be. This was the first year that he really looked old in terms of just simply escaping from pressure. These offensive tackles are just not playing well consistently enough, and his mobility will be required to make up for those issues.
