The Perfect Storm

Ladies and gents I think tonight we’ll see the most complete game of the season. It’s the Raiders, so it won’t be some were back situation, but I think tonight’s the perfect storm for us.

The offense has been lagging lately. They’ll look to right the ship and have had 2 weeks to talk about it.

The defense is being injected with a top 3 DT, and in my mind, when healthy, a top 5 LB in Overshown. We should be getting both safeties back even if they aren’t world beaters they’re better than what we’ve had out there.

Most notably, the having eachothers back in the name of Kneeland. Teams usually rally in these moments. I think Shotty is the right coach for moments like this.

This team got whooped up at home against backup QB lead Arizona Cardinals. I take nothing for granted with this team. This is also Pete Carroll vs Brian Shottenheimer. A coaching mismatch of epic proportions.

This is about as good a chance for a win as we will see the rest of the way. Facing a bad team that doesn’t know how win and we’re coming of a bye with a huge come together moment behind us.

A loss would indicate a total collapse.

I want these guys to have a week to feel good as humans so I’m really pulling for them on an even deeper level than usual.

True, if anything the Cowboys have consistently proven that they simply cannot be consistent. The only consistent talent we have on the team is Aubrey.

With everything you said, it would be the most Cowboys thing ever to watch the Raiders race out to a 21-0 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game. Showing up flat and unprepared......oh yeah....vintage Dallas.

I think this may be a tossup game, though I'm definitely intrigued by the addition of Q/Reverend/Overnout. Not sure what to make of our D right now, to be seen.

Yes sir...life is serious...football, when played by others, is not.

It’s definitely a toss up.
