It happens to all team’s fans when the back up QB comes in and plays well for a stretch of games. The insanity has come to Dallas. Not that Dak doesn’t need to prove himself but what is that mantra of caution “ let’s tap the brakes” for gosh sake’s

The phenomenon with a backup quarterback has been there for decades. All fanbases have been through it. I don't believe Rush is your average backup tho!! This guy has something special about him that i want to continue to see unfold.

Again, the backup quarterback phenomenon is nothing new. But the hating and cheering against your own players phenomenon is something thats grown popular.

The weak *** losers that cheer against their own players to fail is just something different.

After 7 year Dak still has to prove himself?
If he hasn't done it by now...

The only people that get riled up and the trolls that crawl out from under their rock. Anyone that understands football knows who the much better QB is.

Same things happened when Dalton got his shot. Eventually those same people will crawl back under their rock when Dak comes back.
The Dak trolls have been living under a rock for two games in a row.

The Cooper Rush hype ends when he gets his first loss.
But Rush is the hot hand and Dak was slumping before his injury.
The Cowboys would most likely be 0-3 now without Rush.

Neither QB is the answer long term. We need to draft one even if we have to trade up to get him. Without a franchise QB you have nothing.

I think people really want to win and they’re not sure if Dak gives us the best chance. Rush is low cost, so we win with him while simultaneously looking to replace him. We have to commit to Dak. We either try to win with him or look to replace him. We can’t really have it both ways. The team is good if it can win with a limited QB like Rush. So you would hope that a $42 million QB would put you over the top. It’s like the Rams. They felt like they were a good QB away from winning a Super Bowl, and they were right. So the question is, is Dak our Jarred Goff holding us back from winning a Super Bowl, or is he our Matthew Stafford?

There’s always a confidence returning from injury that must be tested the great

ones also. The fear of failure drives great competitors. They talk about it

I'm excited that Rush is playing well and we have won two in a row.

But holy cow, I have NEVER seen fans in such a fervor to anoint a guy. He's literally started three games. Let's slow down a bit.
So you weren't here in 2016?

Im just giddy as all hell watching a QB who can read a defense and be decisive. I hope posters can see how a QB doesnt have to have a all world offensive line to be successful.

I've been here this whole time. The board was much more split than this. Though Romo was also unfairly maligned by fans
Romo became a better QB as he aged, it was injuries did him in. Dak has peaked and then regressed. His limitations on the field are obvious to the objective eye.

Eh, I'd argue the same progression and regression has happened for the same reasons.
