The price for Dallas Cowboys star defender is only getting higher

We’re not winning with him and he hasn’t shown up in the big games or playoffs. He’s wears down as the season goes on. He’s not worth the money. Trade him!

Not if you just franchise tag him.
They exercised his 5th year option so they cannot “tag him”. He’s already under contract. At this point he has to make a decision. Do I show up and play on the 5th year option or do I refuse to show up without a new deal signed?

Based on the Cowboys’ recent history in these matters what do you think is going to happen? Keep in mind, while he can be fined for not showing up to camp, because he’s on a rookie contract those fines can be rescinded. I’ll bet his agent knows that.

Here we go again with the front office of the Dallas Cowboys waiting forever to pay Micah. and doing so made his price even higher. Myles Garrett signed on Sunday with the Cleveland Browns, the biggest non-QB money in the history of the league. Only problem for Dallas: The highest-paid defensive end dollar figure has risen substantially in the last calendar year. Last summer, San Francisco’s Nick Bosa earned $34 million per year. Maybe the Cowboys could’ve signed Parsons for a few million more. Now, Maxx Crosby reset the market last week before Garrett leapfrogged him. Garrett’s deal is expected to pay him $40 million per year, and it has a record $123.5 million guaranteed.
I remember when I thought Philly was beyond stupid to be paying Hurts from the Eagles the year after he lost the superbowl.

Seeing what other QB's were signing for after Hurts, I guess it made sense to pay him at that time and first, and higher than everyone else to help stroke his ego pay wise.

Guess the same can be said for any other position per "highest paid position".

Then let him sit. This year is toast either way.

This team has gone through how many coaches, quarterbacks, offensive and defensive schemes, and key players and contracts since 1996?

Not a single NFC Championship Game appearance since then.

The one constant? Jerry Jones. How any Cowboys fan can excuse him after 29 years and six playoff wins to show for it baffles me.
This ladies and gentlemen is what we call a red herring.

You don't have a real care if Jerry or the real status of his team.

I don't care as figuring out his implied, convenient description that you exhibit, I care about direction of actions. This isn't a German operation hiding V-1 rocket production, U-boat operations, or impenetrable concrete bunkers hiding special operations.

This is football and that requires repetitive elements that gives the coaching staff enough freedoms to allow their leadership to direct their teams.

Jerry does not limit his franchise from freedom to take and hold their own directions.

I follow directions of his team and stay current upon their techniques and ability to adjust to game conditions.

American pilots in Viet Nam, under Lyndon Johnson, were not allowed to buy law attack enemy launch sites such as Cambodia, where Chinese soldiers would attack from.

During Viet Nam, jets would avoid surface to air and circle back around and take out the tracking facility and then the launch vehicle. When pilots taught this to new pilots after ending the war in 1975 they taught this. Congress and Johnson started to throw them in prison.

That very technique was used in Dessert Storm and gave us air supperioty. So?

Air supperioty in football depending upon stationary launch or mobile launch. Taking out both defeated the Germans.

Mobility in passing or stationary quarterbacks work the same for dominance. I watch for team characteristics in the part of football.

The Army has long followed a break down of communicating actions and duties on the basis of task, conditions, and standards. Jerry learned these aspects as well as evaluations with after action analysis and reports.

No, Jerry has learned applications of his job well. His franchise is continually changing and getting better on the carpet. That still is called sports progress and footballl.

If one does not follow franchise progress, he ends up just a grumbling soldier and not a fan enjoying more pleasure than limited view and discussion only to a 30 year calendar.

I respect them and I their owner. I'll continue to follow attention to detail as I did in service!
CC, you are entitled to your opinion. you are a die hard fan and as a result emotionally supportive of Jerry Jones no matter what happens. As you said you continue to follow. its because of your military background to just trust and don't question the leaders. that's what you have been taught.

I am a die hard fan, but I do question the leadership. because the leadership has gravely failed this organization that I am a fan of.

btw, what was the point of all the military analogy. not sure it had anything to do with my response really. interesting, but irrelevant.

The micah-ites just won't admit the truth. Facts are nasty things.

Doesn't matter. Having the 1st and 2nd highest paid players in the NFL wins the season as far as Jerry and Cap Boy are concerned. This was always going one direction.
