He’s gone.

Besides keeping Dan Quinn won’t make this team better. Honestly, we got beat by a better constructed team. Simple as that. If Dan Quinn is back next year and we don’t get significantly better on both sides of the ball, it wouldn’t matter.

The defense is the reason they still had a chance to win this game in spite of the offense. The defense is what kept this season from completely going down the toilet after week one. Find a way to keep him

You build a better team by bringing in guys that win.

Quinn did his job this season.
In the end, did McCarthy? I mean, he had one job. To be an overseer, and preparation guy. Pollard goes down. OK, so you're done now McCarthy, and Zeke is your center for one last hoorah to Kevante, no run backs for 6, Turpin?

I mean, that was lousy end-of-the-game management. You can't expect your players to get behind you if you punt with 2 minutes left and you're down by a TD on their 40.. it's 4 and 5, they have all their TOs. We got lucky, thanks to their stupid mistake, to even get the ball back.

I feel terrible for the defense.

They showed out. But that's why I want Quinn as my head coach.

They could keep both coaches, no doubt. But it's also possible that they hire Quinn as HC, and he'd almost surely stay in Dallas. You lose Quinn, how good is McCarthy on his own? He's not a defensive guru. This whole thing could hit he fan, if we're not careful. McCarthy isn't doing anything special, imo.

This game couldn't have gone any better for Quinn...sadly, can't see a team not give him an offer.

I agree but Quinn is not as good a HC as MM. He may be best DC in the league though.

Jerry already said MM was coming back...twice. It's the only time you can believe anything the fool says.
