The Primary Goal Should Be Retain Dan Quinn

I'll give the man credit. He got further at 80 than many other teams this year. I would say I don't mind him managing or pretending he manages the team with Will McClay doing all the work. But I think he should stop mingling with the players so much, especially during the games.
Yeah, and a bunch of those "many other teams" have won SB titles in recent years. Under Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson, the Cowboys went to 8 SBs and were almost a fixture in the NFCC game. We haven't even been there in almost 30 years. Under no circumstances should he get credit for anything except losing.

He does just enough to keep the Cowboys relevant so he can get his new stadium and afford his $60 million jet and $250 million yacht. That's what he cares about. Chumps filling seats for a team that actually gave Dak Prescott a $40 million/yr contract.

When the Cowboys draft war room doesn't look like a Jones family reunion, we'll have a chance to rebuild into an actual contender. Until then, best case scenario is what we saw this year, a team not good enough, the latest in a long line of teams that fold like a tent come January.

Yep, you do what it takes to keep Quinn. He had his unit showing up in a tough game. The offense looks like the same turdburger it always does against a tough defense.

Even if that means you fire McCarthy to hand him the HC job. You can't lose Quinn right now. His guys were ready. If that's any indication of how he has his team ready, I want him as HC.
Please.....I'm not going to be sad to see him walk. He blitzed a rookie 7th round pick....twice. Let that sink in. And both times we got pressure...Purdy was way too comfortable today.

Just checked the box score.....Lamb had as many tackles as Parsons......1. And 0 sacks.

That's just inexcusable. That 49er offense should of had a 0 on the score board. We just let their 3rd string QB beat us..... :banghead:

Its weird, when DQ came in , he was just a "sit in" until we found someone .

Kellen Moore was the 'boy genius' who would soon be HC.

I don't think he is either.

For example, time clock management and play selection. Sometimes they were just awful.
The punt took you out of the game. If you convert there, you are still very much in it....

You play to win. If you get the ball back, chances are you are out of time anyway. You just go for it.

How does having a defensive HC make Dak and KM and the offense any better? Inquiring minds want to know……

Quinn is going to get an offer, probably from both Indy and Arizona.

Unless you are willing to fire Fat Mike and name Quinn the new HC, he is out of here.

That was the time to go win it. That was the spark your team needed, and you got it.
Absolutely right. The timing of that was perfect. You punch that in and get 6, changes the whole game. You take the momentum at that point, put the pressure on them and the rookie QB. Get those fair weather fans of theirs to sit down and shut up some, lol. That was the break we were all waiting on, and we got it. You have to get that in the end zone, no excuses.
