MM is clearly a better HC than Quinn ,

But putting Quinn as HC and letting KM as OC would be a disaster.

 There is no 'primary goal' that will matter until the old fool in charge is gone. We cannot win with him running the show.

LOL if you actually trust ANYTHING Jerry says. He's a compulsive liar.
If Jerry vouches for a walkabout HC, you can take it to the bank. It broke his heart to let go of Garrett, and dude was here for a decade.

D and ST’s played awesome. The only that didn’t was the O

OK, and who's ultimately in charge of the offense, or supposed to be, or should be as an offensive minded head coach?

If they let him go we might get to see a Quinn coached team get to the Championship game before we do.

lol. I mean, seriously. There's a pattern here.

I wouldn't be mad if the 49ers were the better team. But I don't think they really were tonight. That's what bothers me.

Yep. We gave them the game on offense, and the D just got tired.
They are a good team, and a great defense, but the Cowboys should have won that game If not for the self inflicted wounds.

Neither of them is leading, so that's irrelevant. An 80 year old alcoholic leads the team, not McCarthy or Quinn.

I'll give the man credit. He got further at 80 than many other teams this year. I would say I don't mind him managing or pretending he manages the team with Will McClay doing all the work. But I think he should stop mingling with the players so much, especially during the games.

Lol same here... pretty sure my neighbors thought I was crazy screaming Bossman *** Fat!!!
This made me laugh! Bossman has been itching to make a play all year. I could see it in his eyes.

Good for him, he earned some love at the end that should at least get him an invite back next year.

So, you actually think McCarthy is a better leader of men than Dan Quinn?
I didn’t say that. You posed the question can we keep Quinn? I responded by saying keeping Quinn doesn’t make us better. This team needs more talent at multiple positions. Vince Lombardi couldn’t have taken this team to a SB.

Let’s be honest…the two teams in the NFC championship game had much better off-seasons than we did. That upgraded their talent a lot. We upgraded maybe a little if any.

You lose Quinn, how good is McCarthy on his own? He's not a defensive guru. This whole thing could hit he fan, if we're not careful. McCarthy isn't doing anything special, imo.
I don't think he is either.

For example, time clock management and play selection. Sometimes they were just awful.
