Anyone who puts stock into this thing is an idiot.

1. Larry Allen makes the PB? Are you kidding me?
2. Boldin makes it over TO yet he has less yards and far less TD's?
3. Romo has made it and he's clearly not a top 3 NFC QB.
4. Newman get's left off and Hall's sorry *** makes it? No way!
5. Roy can't cover anyone Williams... Another selection based on repuation rather than talent.

Point is the entire pro bowl selection process is dumb and is a popularity contest.

Ok, point out the better QB in NFC right now that is more deserving than Romo? I am not that hot that Romo is so deserving, but its more of issue of lack of Good QBs in NFC than Romo not being that good.

And show me a better Strong Safety in NFC that is more deserving in NFC? Heck show me a better one in NFL, that is really good in Coverage, or much better than Roy at Coverage and as good a hitter as Roy? We are not talking abotu FS but SS?

Its so idiotic when Fans and Media ( local ) keep saying Roy doesn't deserve it but yet they cannot come up with one better SS than Roy in NFC.

This happens every year. Last year, the talk was also about Vick making the team. It's a popularity contest for the most part.

romo is a stranger choice than roy in my opinion..to be honest half of the games romo has played have not been that spectacular...but i guess he did lead to their turn around so i dont know...

"Half of the games romo has played have not been that spectacular" . . . .

What games have you been watching of the Cowboys?

Romo also happens to have the highest QB rating in the NFL as well.

The only poor game Romo had was vs. the Saints.

lol you saw him play what the giants and your team?
he is the highest rated passer in the nfc over your boy brees.
don't hate on tony just cause you don't watch many boys games, there aren't any other nfc qb's that should go over him cept the one that did

maybe my point came off wrong. im not tryin to say romo sucks. i just find it strange that a qb that has only played the last half of the season, and just happens to be a bit of a media darling makes the pro-bowl. It probably doesnt help that im not a big fan of QB ratings...when it comes to qb ratings (much like all stats) i tend to believe the shorter the timeline the less it tells you.
But in all fairness i guess the nfc's qbs arent very deep without mcnabb around...

I guess the injury to his finger is neither here nor there when it comes to the drops.

What even if McNabb, was healthy the QB play in the NFC still wouldn't be any good now with Romo, for a guy to come off the bench and perform like he did is amazing to me but the Pro Bowl is another story.

Brees, is a terrific QB, in his own right I watched him at Purdue, and he was a first round pick that is why I love Romo, so much because he wasn't given the time of day.

I don't like stats either and I despise Fantasy Football, and that Matthew Berry, is annoying.

Brees wasn't a first round pick. A guy by the name of LT was the first round pick for the Chargers in that draft. Brees was thier 2nd round pick.

Tony Romo is a good QB but remember he's still a first year starter. I think he's going to continue to get better.... I'm pissed T-Newman didn't get voted to the Pro Bowl, did everyone vote at least three times???

I agreed with you, but LA is doing pretty good in SF. Look at Frank Gore's stats. Couldnt agreed more on the Roy Williams subject though, this guy is overated.

If Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Carson Palmer were in the NFC, Romo obviously would not have made the Pro Bowl. Hell, Brady didn't even make it in the AFC.

But Romo's played well and, frankly, few of the conference's other QBs have.

I mean, would Marc Bulger be considered for the game if he were in the AFC? He's benefitting from being in this conference as much as any player.

Allen has had a great yr by all accounts...I havent seen him play every game, but when I did watch SF he stood out...he opened alot of holes for Gore

2. Boldin makes it over TO yet he has less yards and far less TD's?

Boldin is a very good WR, but Owens should have made it over him...clearly Owens was black listed

3. Romo has made it and he's clearly not a top 3 NFC QB.

huh? he clearly is...in fact he is #1 in passer rating and has had one bad start out of 8...if it werent for Romo, we wouldnt be playing into January

4. Newman get's left off and Hall's sorry *** makes it? No way!

yeah this was pretty sad...Newman is the best CB in the NFC by quite a bit

5. Roy can't cover anyone Williams... Another selection based on repuation rather than talent.

this is incredibly stupid...he can and has covered people and he has pretty good ball skills or he wouldnt have the 5 picks he has...its not his fault he plays in a ridiculously stupid defensive scheme

Point is the entire pro bowl selection process is dumb and is a popularity contest
.

yeah, that part is true...I put alot more stock in the all pro voting than this

NBA all star game, MLB all star game, NFL pro bowl game........all have the same problem in common. Last year there was a obvious change in the final roster after the guys with injuries bowed out and the others who didn't want to go. The same thing will happen this year. Don't be shocked of another Cowboy gets added before then.

are you kidding me, 4 games w/ a 100 QB rating? out-dueling Peyton Manning? 5 TDs in one game?

and whoever argues against William's selection needs to seek help, he leads the league in takeaways
