I admit it, it is all my fault. When I set up my automated mouse clicking program, I only set it to vote for Romo. I should have taken the further steps to continuously vote for Newman as well.

Brees wasn't a first round pick. A guy by the name of LT was the first round pick for the Chargers in that draft. Brees was thier 2nd round pick.
Yes he was thanks for the clearup.

But atleast he was thought about on draft day.

The fact of the matter is also that Dallas' fanbase at present although considerable is made up primarily of die hards, the laymans and band wagoneers that jumped on the SS Invincible Cowboys of the early Ninties are some of the voters that helped ensure Dallas was sending 10 and 11 players to Hawaii, not that they didn't deserve it.

Every Super Bowl Champ experiences an influx of band wagon fans and since Dallas sustained such long and dominating success Dallas had a lingering influx of bandwagon fans most of whom fell away when the dynasty ended.

Converts obviously came aboard and Dallas enjoys a great and diverse fanbase but without recent championships the bandwagoneers, which are the equivalent of swing voters and independents, have not been there to aide Cowboy players with their post season travel plans.

I love how people just assume Larry Allen got in by just name alone.

I have heard that the guy has been great and I wouldnt be surprised if the 49ers ran to his side > 50% of the time.

Im sure Frank Gore would agree.

He's good, but his namesake keeps him in the spotlight because he isn't dominant anylonger. They use him naturally because he's huge and the rest of that O-line is not much to behold. He has been a great decoy on pulls but he misses blocks far more than he ever did in his prime in Dallas, you can out manuveur him with agility before he pancakes you where in years before he just bulldozed you at his own discretion and you couldn't resist nor protest.

Frank Gore deserves the pro bowl nod because he is productive inspite of that line on most occasions.
