yeah thats what I got out of it, he didnt want to play for a losing team, and he knew they would continue to be losers. Can you blame him? Even Troy knew the circus was coming....and it wasn't leaving for a very long time.

*I winded a big sniff of that, less than 1/2 way thru it, myselfOk Troy. You were cut, then tried to latch on to San Diego before calling it quits.

I feel really bad for a qb that elite everything around him while they won 3 sbs. Hard to believe. Love aikman but let's be real.
*I got his Superbowl MVPSuper Bowl MVP. Nuff said. I still have the signed sports illustrated cover.
*I'm pretty sure I've heard him lamenting over that fact ,as being his reason for hanging it up/calling it quits,,,er,,,also*And here all this time I thought it was the multiple concussions that finally forced him to say enough was enough.
Andy Reid was trying to get him to play for him...Troy almost became an eagle.
I actually have the Dallas news. Cowboys fan page.Super Bowl MVP. Nuff said. I still have the signed sports illustrated cover.
Troy has said multiple reasons he has retired - not long ago he said the reason he retired was due to a back injury or something, and I believe that was in relation to Romo's back problems.
It's probably a combination of both. The one he most likely won't admit to is that he just wasn't that good at football anymore, and frankly, he wasn't all that great after the 95 season.
