On the TD play, Kosier should have been called for inelligble man downfield. He threw a cut block two yards downfield before Tony threw the ball. He obviously thought Tony was going to run it, but he didn't and the refs missed it.

I think Romo threw a lateral pass to Barber as well and it wasn't called, but we got screwed last week in Lambeau soooo....

7-3 BABY! :)

What would be called? It was complete, so there's no issue of whether it was a fumble or not ....

lol, what's the problem with that? You can't throw a ball that isn't a spiral if you have a star on your helmet or they'll flag you for unsportsmanlike conduct?

they owed us one for them not calling intentional grounding on Campbell.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought a QB couldn't throw a pass to any player behind the LOS?

I'll admit, I'm no expert at this stuff.

Yep. We also got a good spot on a third down where Barber appeared to be stopped. I'll take those.

Lateral passes are completely legal. The risk is that an incompletion is a live ball.

So, Romo can turn back and throw to Barber who's still behind him AND behind the LOS as well?

I...did...not...know...that.

Learn something new everyday. :)

you're not supposed to post stuff like that. it makes this win look even worse.

3 thousand posts and you just learned that? Have you never seen a trick play??

Not only that, but Barber can then throw it himself (forward or backward) if he so chooses. As long as the ball is being thrown backward, it can be thrown again.

I've seen a lot of funny things in the past 30 years with this team.

That one particular pass, just didn't look right to me for some reason.

As Steve Martin used to say....EXCUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEEEE!

I personally thought they were incredibly one-sided. And not in our favor. But maybe it's because I'm a fan of the Cowboys, so I may have been biased.

If thats the case it only makes up for many of the other ticky tack or down right stupid calls they made throughout the game.

Patience, I understand that it is scheduled for review Wednesday and then the Cowboys will get a phone from the league officiating office saying it is Washington's ball on their 10 yard line with 2:45 to play.

That and yet several more incredibly ticky tack penalties on our DB's, negating good plays. I've never seen any teams DB's called as close as our gusy have been called this yr. Its freaking pathetic, especially when you consider the absolute mugging and rape other teams DB's do to our guys that almost never called.

I think the other teams coaches tell them, to watch our guys more closely before the game even starts. Pitching, that "America's Team" always gets away with too much out there etc. Naturally, the officials take note of this and all of a sudden, we're one of the most penalized teams in the league.

I just wonder if our coaching staff does the same for us.

we've been to 8 Super Bowls and won 5, the refs have really screwed America's Team over the years.
