I know this is a bit melodramatic but I have a feeling this is one of those games where the calls will mostly favour the Iggles. It's in the NFL's best interest that the NFC East race keep going after this week. So I'd look for a lot of noncalls on Philly and a lot of ticky tack calls on us.

Oh you mean like the wk 10 game in Philly? Multiple flags against the Cowboys and 0 against the Birds?

refs have been under more scrutiny than ever this season. too many missed calls. chargers got a gift against steelers on moving prior to the snap. another ref just canned for disrespecting players. I've always adhered to the tom landry theory that bad calls have a way of evening themselves out over the course of the game. the game vs the saints proved that.

I don't, I think there will be calls in the game that fans disagree with but that is every week in every game. In the end this will come down to who plays better and I'm counting on the Cowboys to do just that.

Definitely not arguing there was/is a conspiracy against Dallas. However wk 10 was the only time Philly in 2018 was not flagged. What does this mean? No idea. Maybe the refs were not paying attention as well as they should have been?

Just looked it up. Dallas (73) is the least penalized team so far in the NFL. The Chiefs (130) is the most.

Wait, wait. Let me help them:

"It's not the number of penalties, it WHEN they're called. They wait for us to get a big play and then call a penalty late. That's how the CONSPIRACY! goes undetected (until I detected it)."

Was thinking the exact same thing posted it in the Ramifications thread . Hate when the officials change the outcome of games and this one has all the earmarks of one of those games

You know it's a game people are nervous about when there are complaints about the officials before the game rather than discussions about calls they made or didn't make during the game. This is what you call softening for a feared rough landing. Have faith in our guys, will ya?

So you're preemptively saying that if we lose it won't be because of our garbage HC and mediocre QB rather it will be the refs fault?

Got it

Unfortunately quite a few times this has been true, a few hold calls aginst our OL and the last game especially the Randy gregory neutral zone infraction especially could have been whistled immediately after the snap , instead they waited for the play to be over , which was a sack fumble recovered by Dallas and called .
