The refs this coming Monday

So as I was reading threads, it suddenly occurred to me.. this is probably Brady's last hurrah, and surely the league will not want a 1 and done for the GOAT. As such, I'm expecting us to be heavily penalized, including some holding-that's-not-normally-a-hold late in the 4th if it's close.

I'm going to make an over/under at 9.5 penalties. I'm going to take the over. What say you?

I've never understood why people think the league cares about Tom Brady at this point, and would knock out their biggest ratings boosting team just so that he can make it to the second round of the playoffs?

Honestly until they show me otherwise, I'm expecting a loss even if we had 0 penalties. But if it's close or Brady is losing, I believe they will nudge the game a bit towards Brady.

While everyone was busy blaming Dak, it was the 14 penalties and zero ability to win in the trenches that truly killed us that day. All else equal, Dak was better than Jimmy G.

TB should aim for the one to ten yard line on kick-offs. Turpin isn’t returning squat and, even if he did, someone on the return team would be called for a block in the back. Yes, every time. Half the distance to the goal. Yea, poor field position.

This ^^^. It’s exhausting watching how often fans think the NFL has some vast conspiracy to predetermine games through referees. And equally amazing how easy it is for people to believe in a conspiracy rather than just accept things as they actually happen.
