No, I see it the other way.

I'm expecting him to be at his best. He's had a nice long rest.

More time than the finger required and plenty of time to recover from any other aligments.

You know their has been talk of a thumb injury.

He's also had a chance to take a step back and analyze his own game.

I'm certain we see Romo at his absolute best in Washington.
idk bout that. the guy hasn't played in a month so he might be rusty

I'm sure it'll be all fine by mini-camp next spring.

He's a football player. Remember the scene in any given sunday where "Capt" is yelling a the nurse to jack up the meds.....he's a football player! Romo can deal with the pain for the duration of this season. I would expect more "off" passes for a few games while he figures out his grip.

no

you're confusing pessimism with realism, this thread deals with a legitamate concern

Please name one QB who was retired/drummed out the league due to a broken bone in the hand . . .

I am petrified that he'll be playing injured and poorly for the rest of the season due to this, but then again Im a total worry wart.

There was a story in the Dallas Cowboys Star mag this week about Staubach..he broke his throwing-hand pinky in the Navy. he could point his hand North but his pinky would point East..thats how deformed it was. I never realised that until now. He had a pretty damn good career in spite of that.
