The irony here being, of course, that anytime someone suggests the Cowboys *MIGHT* be one of the 5 best teams in the league, in comes bbgun with a string of negativity that would make Edgar Allan Poe envious
Yeah, it's my fault he's so predictable. Right on cue he shows his face, because, well,
that's what he does. As Roy's propagandist-in-chief, he has a sixth sense for criticism of #38, no matter how reasonable or fair-minded. For whatever reason, he hitched his wagon to Roy's star, and the rest of us have been paying for it ever since. Well, welcome to the long overdue backlash. He doesn't "analyze" Roy; he exonerates him. There's lies, damn lies, and Adam. If Roy screws up, rest assured he'll find someone in the same vicinity of the play to hang it on. When it comes to Roy, a convenient fall guy is never too far away. Exhibit A would be that Campbell to Cooley TD last year at Texas Stadium. All on Roy, right? Wrong. Someone who shall remain nameless threw Bradie James under the bus, for allegedly failing to drop far enough into coverage. The fact that Roy expected LB help in such a small part of the field is a damning indictment unto itself. But hey, blind idolatry trumps all.
P.S. Judging from your avatar, you really need to recuse yourself from this debate. And fyi, Poe's authorship of a scary poem does not make him "negative." All this time I thought A&M was a quality school. My bad.
