So you man up at the LOS and disrupt the timing of those short passes, not keep playing 5-10 yards off and in zone all game and just let them do it.

Basically all teams are going to have to do is make us Punt once and they can win. The defense looked so bad I am not sure we'll win Time of Possession all season. We are going to have to score every time we have the ball.

When the league goes 5-wide pass happy he drafts a RB top 5 and we're a run first team

When the league moves to disguise everything they can until the last seconds we line up in base formations on both sides of the ball and try to win our matchups.

It's the hope that hurts so much. I have been knackered all day staying up to watch the game. It sounds bad but I would rather we just get blown out by half time if we are to lose. Over the last year most games seem to have come down to the last drive.

This. Pass rush wasn't an issue. Thing is, that might be all we have. We'll be fine if we get on a lead like Jim Nantz and Al Michaels mentioned last night. We could be like the Manning Colts where they would go up and have Freeney & Mathis pin their ears and wreck havoc. Can't start slow.

That's how they're built, which is why the conservative game plan last night makes little sense and why I think it's got a lot to do with the fact that it's week 1.

The defensive pieces are better than years past, but they are not playing as a cohesive unit. The run defense has me concerned. Might need to trade for another fire plug in the middle. IDK yet.

All joking aside at least we aren't the Eagles. I don't see how they can improve their OLine to a level where it's competent and competition. Surely they don't have room in the cap to bring in more players. I'm more concerned with the Commanders and their front 7.

Don't give up too soon.

This forum has invested a lot of time and energy into the theory that Jason Garrett was the sole problem with this team. Every single time we lost a game this forum told us it was his fault we lost. We even have a list of theories of how he had been sabotaging the offense because he was jealous of Kellen Moore.

Don't throw all that hard work away just yet.
