Some here have Dallas sweeping the first 2 vs Tampa Bay and Cincy
:omg:

Can you imagine the over-the-top national and local media if that happens?
It but be redlined, maxed out.
Fun though!

If they had, in that scenario, early-season fan voting for the Pro Bowl (like 2007) Dallas would have 15 Pro Bowlers.
:lmao:

Dak is head and shoulders better than Hurts
he is better, but head and shoulders is a stretch. Hurts may not be as good a passer, but he runs and is true dual threat. Dak disappears in games and declines as the season goes. I just think Eagles did more to help themselves than we did. we took a step back.

8-9 it is.

I've had them 9-8 the whole offseason, but after seeing the schedule I can't see 9 wins right now, maybe that will change as the season progresses, but I don't see it right now today.

I got a win over Tampa, loss against Cincinnati, wins over the Giants and Washington, loss to the Rams, wins against Philly, Detroit, and Chicago, bye week, surprise win against Green Bay, surprise loss to Minnesota to sort of screw me over for MFF a few weeks later, win against the Giants, win against Indianapolis (which I'll likely miss cuz I'll be at MFF), win against Houston, win against Jacksonville, win against Philly, loss to Tennessee, loss against Washington.

11-5

I know you're going to mock me for thinking that we beat Green Bay, but let me explain. With Mike going back to Green Bay that game, I think he's going to have a bigger chip than Rodgers that game, and we're coming out of a bye. Mike will have had an extra week to get the team ready for that game, and he's going to want to prove that he was why Rodgers was successful. Additionally, Rodgers isn't used to seeing the kind of pressure from us that he's going to see with the likes of Parsons. I think he gets surprised by the energy this team will play with that game. As such, I think we pull out a close win to shock the league. But then we lose to the Vikings because we get too far ahead of ourselves before redeeming ourselves against NY.

I'm not gonna make ya. It's your prediction. This is supposed to be fun.

I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Yeah, and I think the schedule is actually not too bad. I just wish we were playing in Chicago the weekend I'm at MFF so I can wear my fursuit at the game.

I guarantee you NFL execs would disagree with you.. 104 QBR vs 87.. big difference

if they start out 2 and 5 they will end up picking in the top ten of next years draft and also it may be time to think about rebuild and moving on from the current quarterback

Old school football words that don't apply any more:

- Rebuild (teams don't do it anymore, they reload)
- Defense wins championships (no, but complimentary football does)
...
To be continued

The game changes ... no doubt. But, how much that truly changes the traditional terms \ wisdom is overexaggerated IMO.

I see them somewhere just north of .500 9 and 8 or 10 and 7.
Wonder if that will be enough to win the division?
