I would like to think it’s more on Schoonmaker not running his route deep enough. He needed to be another foot ahead.
Then the ball wouldn't have been there ...... he had to hug the ground to catch it as it was.

Receivers should know where they are on the field. He ran the route parallel to the goal line as soon as he made his cut. Had plenty of time to turn it into the end zone before the throw.

100% on the receiver.

That was clearly PI.

He was down before he caught the ball because the Philly defender was already tackling him.

Refs were awful today.

And neither of the commentators pointed that out.

I'm beginning to believe these conspiracy theories about the NFL playing a major influence in the outcomes of games for sports betting purposes.
The reffing in today's NFL is atrocious..

Yep. The refs were bad tonight, but they made equally bad calls/non-calls for both teams
Strongly disagree. If that holding call on Schoonmaker gets called for Parsons all game long, I'm not sure Philly scores a point. The non calls were heavily biased towards Philly.

.........

Getting back to the OP, the fact that Dallas started getting calls once they were down 28-17 was really concerning. This was yet another game where it looked like the refs were trying to keep it close to the betting line.

Yeah. Ok.

But the rule is don’t tackles before the ball is there. That’s clear.

But yea. Good observation that doesn’t change the facts of what happened.

Does anyone have a replay of that. The network only showed 1 angle of the play.

That call, the CONSTANT HOLDING BY THE E-GIRLS
O- LINE...The B.S. Shoenmaker(sp.) holding call, the Hold on C.D.along the sidelines on the same drive where they ended up punting.. The zebras had money on the line today... PURE B.S.
The PI on Gilmore on the pass 70ft over the head.

Picked up hands to the face flag on 2nd down.
