Run the route a yard deeper and dak had cooks open which should have been the throw
Watch the film he had the rush coming he had to cut it. Was thinking the same but with the rush don't think he would have had time

He could have made the throw at the same time to cooks. Schoon is a bum another 2nd round toilet pick

my biggest problem was the call to go to schoonmaker on that play, along with a call to go to Tolbert at another critical time in the game.

This is the point that so many miss. Beginning with the missed spot on the Eagirls first drive. It was a clear miss (which MM should have challenged).
Yes.That spot was so brutal.. obviously a yard and a half to far forward. U can see the reply of whete the ball was when his knee touched the turf.. How is there not some one in the booth , yelling down to the sidelines to throw the challenge flag??

What about the PI hands to the face on Gallup, the ref was looking directly at that **** and never called it!!lol...I was like their is no way the fix wasn't in, Micah Parsons getting mugged and held and the stupid ref just looks at him and does nothing! Parsons had every right to be pisssed, Ohh and the worse on was that call on Gilmore on un-cachable ball..Gilmore did nothing absolutely nothing, it was good coverage for christ sake..I knew right then and then we had a tall mountain to climb.

The timing of the calls put us at a disadvantage though.
This has been my biggest gripe! If they're going to call a game...than call it across the board.

It wasn't a hold when Philly did it, but it was a hold 3 plays later when Dallas did it! It's maddening.
(I'm not talking about any particular play from today, just using a loose example)

That was clearly PI.

He was down before he caught the ball because the Philly defender was already tackling him.

Refs were awful today.

And neither of the commentators pointed that out.

I'm beginning to believe these conspiracy theories about the NFL playing a major influence in the outcomes of games for sports betting purposes.
Everything you said is TRUE. But the team needs its *** kicked for drafting Schoonmaker in the first place in the second round. Ferguson is light years better than him anyway.

Dak had a free blitzer coming right at him. He didn't have a chance to go to his second read which most likely would have been Cooks. It's clear Schoon was the 1st read on that play by the way Dak is looking to that side. Had Fergy ran a better rub or had Schoon not get tackled before the happened it would have been an easy TD.

if he had dropped the ball as he hit the ground it would not have been a catch. Similarly, I don’t thing his knee drag should be counted until it is deemed a catch. No sour grapes here. We lost when we had the opportunity to win. I just don’t like the rule.
Because 1 knee is equal to 2 feet for the rules the moment he had control, with a knee down, it was a catch, and unfortunately he was short of the end zone when that happened.
