The score was not indicative of how bad they were dominated

It was a great game-plan by the Giants. Methodical drives that eat clock and move the ball consistently.
allowed their defense to rest, and limited our possessions.

Dallas had no real answer to it.
This is Harbaugh football isn't it? He likes to dominate the lines of scrimmage and run the football. He exposed the Cowboys defensive issues.

Yup.
I mean, what we got used to every time we faced the Ravens for the past decade.
Physical run game, to then setup the pass when needed.

Giants are an average team.

Let's not make them out to be the 85 Bears just to make us feel better.

We got bullied by an average team. That's what happens when you have bad lines, bad coaches, and bad GM
We may see 40 on the board soon, if something doesn't get corrected.

looked like a scrimmage game defensively. Inexcusable. What we saw was players reading the hype, complacency, smothered in low iq players that think all they needed to do to beat the Giants is walk onto the field. What blows my mind is the fact we haven't won anything of note in 31 years, so why the entitled attitude? We know the answer...and it lies up in the owners box at the stadium.

We held up pretty decent in the middle, on defense, we don’t have any outside linebackers, that can tackle
And the secondary, lol
I have to say, I was totally surprised how unorganized we were,
hmmmm we did ok in the middle barely, but our ends were moved off the ball and manhandled all night. Gary wasn't good. We need Big Beefy dudes to play this new scheme. We got 4-3 edges trying to be 3-4 defensive ends. They got pancaked all night. This might be a transitional year for the defense. A year of flux.

The salary cap era is littered with teams that were average or below average one season, and great the next. I don’t think anyone has any idea how the Giants will perform this year or us. I do know the Giants have a great NFL, Super Bowl winning head coach and we had a guy no other team even Interviewed. Perhaps that makes a difference lol.

You haven’t been on the zone lately have you? CP was anointed the next hot coordinator for head coach a few weeks ago.
Yeah, by people, I don’t pay attention to, because they do nothing but slam, negativity

The Giants could have scored 100 points tonight if they wanted to, the only reason they scored only 28 was because they took so long to score. Cowboys would have not gotten one stop if they had 10 possessions.
Yeah im not sure dying a slow death defensively is any better than giving up big plays for shorter scoring drives. Its all the same if you're inept on 3rd downs.

Couldn’t agree more and it doesn’t help that the media and fans like the ones here who have been acting like beating them would be a walk in the park, hyping up the defense before they even took snap and talkingbtrash about Harbaugh kept feeding their ego’s.

Did we?

Didn’t we give up 165 yards rushing?

Truth! I think this was one of the worst offenses the Cowboys will see.

Yes, we couldn’t stop the outside run, we weren’t as bad up the middle,, we did some good things, but we did more ugly

I’m not at all surprised they lost. I all but said it would happen without actually trying to piss on anyone’s week. This was NYs Super Bowl, but they’ll also have a good year. Think Quinn in Washington.

What shocked me was how bad the Dallas defense was. They aren’t this bad, and I chalk it up to teams deciding that they can use September as the preseason. Certain teams can, this one clearly could not.

They’ll get better, but the WL record will be blown by then.

If you’ve got generally the same scheme, coordinators and players, and you’ve had success…fine, sit out the preseason. This team should not have done that.

I saw the opposite. I watched us get gashed up the middle all night, which was concerning because of what we’ve invested in that group of players.
