The Giants could have scored 100 points tonight if they wanted to, the only reason they scored only 28 was because they took so long to score. Cowboys would have not gotten one stop if they had 10 possessions.

I saw the opposite. I watched us get gashed up the middle all night, which was concerning because of what we’ve invested in that group of players.

He’s not running the defense, on the sidelines, concentrating on field management and the offensive duties
You’re right he runs everything, he sets the game plan, the scheme, with his defensive coordinators and special teams
We did some good things, there was definitely good, there was definitely ugly bad
We stripped the ball four times we just didn’t get the right bounce
We dropped two interceptions

Don't get me wrong, the defense was dog poo....couldn't get a stop to save their lives...

However, they fumbled 5 times - Dallas only got one of them.
Int that was hit them right in the numbers - where Dak's ball just not enough to get OB and the guy makes a sliding catch.
Dallas actually had more pressures/sacks/hits on Dart.
The penalty/calls were weird. First half was all on Dallas - Second half was majority on NY - with just a complete disregard to delay of game. Dallas even got the benefit of one, but not near as bad as some of the missed NY ones.

Something was just off about the entire game to me.

Agreed that the final score looked better than the game really was, especially on defense. Harbaugh wanted to milk clock and shorten the game, so that Dallas's deep passing game stayed on the bench, and it worked. Dallas's offense got 52 plays instead of their normal ~70, so Harbaugh essentially stole two drives from us. And he was able to burn that much clock because Dallas's defense couldn't get a stop to save their lives.

The slow-tempo strategy did not lead to a ton of points given up on the scoreboard, but the Cowboys per-play efficiency numbers were as bad as anything from last season. If New York wanted to play fast and make it a shootout, they could have scored 35-40 points no problem.

We only had the ball twice, twice in the second half, that’s unheard of, and we scored two touchdowns, we just couldn’t stop them

I said it three times, the lack of preparation, was nonexistent, some teams look clearly prepared yesterday while others looked lost

That’s not just preseason lag over, that’s not being prepared properly
