I don’t think it is out of the realm of possibility for MM to be fired. I think it would be the wrong decision, but I recall Stephen at the end of last season saying the expectation for this season is a deep playoff run. This FO always has to have a scapegoat.

Exactly. Players with no trade clauses agree to trades all the time. They just do it to protect their brand and not get sent to some dumpster fire of an organization. I'd be willing to bet that he would jump at a trade to Miami in a heartbeat if Miami was willing to move on from Tua.

It will be business as usual in a few days. Jerry will be back jabbering like an old fool, they'll be filling up the yacht with diesel for their vacation at the start of FA, etc. They'll come back rejuvenated and refreshed, hit the bargain bin of FA like a great white after a baby seal, talk about how they use the draft to fill all their real needs, put forth a decent, not great product in 2023, bow out early in the 2023 playoffs and we'll do it all over again in 2024.

This has to be the most accurate timeline I have seen of how the organization is ran. Stephen is that you?
