To make sure it's really silver do a ping test or ice cube test. Sometimes it's not really a silver lining just fake lining made overseas. Be careful!

It's really disappointing that Dak didn't throw for over 300 yards in his first NFL game  Apparently that's what some of you were expecting from a fourth round draft pick

Dez and Beasley should of caught the would be Touchdowns.. especially Beasley. 99.9% of the time being wide open that ball is caught. Then you can throw the bs stadium sun issue. Better get some darn blinds. We played a tough defense obviously. Couldn't run , corners played good, the dez catch was right in his hands lol some of you man....wow

Not to mention he avoided being sacked and the Giants definitely were putting on the pressure. Weeden had been in the NFL for a number of years and this was Dak's first NFL start so I think the comparison isn't quite fair at this point.

Stat lines don't tell the whole story, and that Beasely TD drop and the Bryant TD drop were both very catchable balls. Every pass doesn't need to be in the numbers.
Beasley drop inexcusable. Bryant unable to control it all the way through with defender dislodging the ball so control was not maintained was a good play by the defense which the defense is allowed to do. Everyone thinks Dez is supposed to catch every contested ball guess what there are no wr in the league with 100% catch stats.

On the dropped td passes:

Beasely
My memory may be bad but Dak had a rusher in his face, with arms extended, causing him to throw it higher than he wanted. I bet Beasely was only 9 yards away from Dak, and he had to make a split-second adjustment to launch himself in the air as high and as a fast as he could to make the catch. I'd imagine that ball got on him fast.
Not an easy catch, but it is probably made 3/4s of the time by NFL WRs.

Dez
He was leaping, fighting-for-the-ball, fully extended with a guy all over him trying to separate him and the ball.
It was impressive that he got it as close to a catch as he did. Dez probably makes that catch 90% of the time, most guys 60-70% of the time.

For the most part I thought Prescott made it easy on his WRs.

Zero doubt, Dak gives this team the best chance to win at this point. We are severely lacking at WR, RT, and Defense... However, we can use almost all future draft picks to address these positions instead of mortgaging the future on an unknown at QB.

I will also add that I feel the WR crew has the ability to bounce back.

The wins are coming and im willing to stay positive until it happens.

I know this may not be popular here, but I think the smartest thing to do is start to clean house with the dead weight... Romo, Dez is getting there, etc... While they still have trade value and start building with good young talent. Dak and Zeke need a good young Amari Coop type WR. OL is solid for the most part.

Anyway, just some random thoughts.
