Loser: Mike Solari

It’s hard to envision a way Mike Solari can remain on the staff for much longer. Despite his years of experience, the Cowboys’ offensive line has regressed over the past few seasons. Terence Steele doesn’t look quite right since his season-ending knee injury in 2022, and Solari was tasked with getting a young offensive line going on the right foot. Cooper Beebe fared relatively well, but Tyler Guyton did not. Even though Solari has a relationship with Schottenheimer dating back to their time with Seattle, Adams’ presence on the team pushes Solari into a corner. If your new coordinator can get results from what he had to work with Arizona, imagine what he could do with the prospects in Dallas. Solari isn’t out the door yet, but his standing in Dallas is becoming more tenuous with Adams’ arrival.

Winner: Tyler Guyton

For the Cowboys offense to get back on track in 2025, you get the sense that it’ll be contingent upon how well Tyler Guyton develops. He had a rough rookie year where he was flagged for penalties numerous times and was benched for inconsistency while learning a new position at left tackle. Adams’ reputation as a miracle worker with offensive linemen could be what Guyton needs to get his confidence and start trending his career in the right direction.

This points to outside this site's objectivity.

First, the talent here already, is stronger than what you guys are giving it credit.

Secondly, the staff added WILL improve defensive play.

If you are looking for proof, grab a peach moonshine and smile. It is there, unless you prefer apples.
What do you mean Mike solari remained on staff last I checked they all had their contracts run out and he's no longer part of this team therefore he's a free agent... We have yet to choose a new offensive line coach but that doesn't mean it's gonna be him imho

Explain for yourself. So you now lmply Solari evolved our tackle more than he will now with the new staff...or do we just cry around here?

That makes no sense whatsoever did you have a seizure when you read that and replied seriously I'm saying Mike solari is not our offensive line coach at the moment you said he is not gonna be here much longer on staff and he's literally not on staff.... Last night check he's not under contract I'm just telling you what you wrote seems inaccurate we have a vacant position for the offensive line coach...

There’s a greater than zero chance we will end up doing little to nothing at LB except pick up some random street FA or undrafted rookie to fill out the depth chart.

What Jerry is more likely to do is say “we really like some of our young guys and are encouraged by the way Overshown is attacking his rehab,” or some meaningless nonsense like that.

Bassa is my guy.

Former safety turned linebacker, will play ILB and is a true leader.

He is going to have the Ivan Pace trajectory. Just a ball player and leader
Would have agreed with you prior to this season.

He played limited snaps the first few games of the season due to injury, and just didn’t live up to pre-season expectations. Somehow, with Cardwell and Harmon in the middle he would still get covered up on too many running plays and his pass coverage tape this year will do him NO favors with the scouts.

100% agree with him as being a leader and is an A+ quality character guy but on the field the most impactful player of Oregon LB group this year also plays centerfield for the Ducks.

To give him some kind of an out, perhaps his early season injury this year hampered his movement much more than he let on. He IS that kind of guy to not tell you he was hurting.

Not at all...I was able to afford lunch while at school. We could afford a quarter. Dad got out of the Navy and was a career union member in chemical production.

The OC upgrades the team approach for OL. I thought you understood football.

Go away, he's not done playing Cowboys and Indians yet.'s not done playing Cowboys and Indians yet.

"Go away, he's not done playing Cowboys and Indians yet."

You can keep your crying and refer to abstract 30 with football...I don't attach to excuses, ONLY. A coward approach.

I'm happy with the Jones owned Cowboys. If you don't, take your lame arse and leave instead of insulting only.

No Sir, insulting at premise... This fan relates more with 'Walking Tall.' Beer or liquor.

Cowboys should trade down from #12 into the mid 20s while securing either a late 2nd round draft pick ... or a 3rd & a 5th round draft picks. Then draft 6'3, 245 lb, 4.50 40 time Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell in the 1st round for our next MLB. He's a stud LB and exactly what the Cowboys need.

Plus, his name is Jihaad so he'll be on a mission.

Wait for it ....

Positional rank for 2025 Draft

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...tion-luther-burden-ashton-jeanty-tyler-warren

LINEBACKER

  1. Jalon Walker, Georgia
  2. Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
  3. Carson Schwesinger, UCLA
  4. Danny Stutsman, Oklahoma
  5. Chris Paul Jr., Ole Miss
  6. Jeffrey Bassa, Oregon
  7. Jack Kiser, Notre Dame
  8. Barrett Carter, Clemson
  9. Jay Higgins, Iowa
  10. Kobe King, Penn State
Linebacker is another one of the Cowboys offseason roster "needs". With Eric Kendricks potentially leaving via free agency and DeMarvion Overshown 2025 season in jeopardy due to another season-ending injury, drafting one of the Top 10 LBs is a possibility.
The class is generally weak. We have a 2nd yr green starter who is better severed with a veteran or two next to him. Expect Eberflus to sign a former player and draft another one.

That's how studs are made or don't you hang around long enough to recognize the three year development to reach strong NFL merit and experiences.

" Cap Boy " Stephen is not gonna go all in for a high priced vet off- ball LB in free agency. We know his way of operating year-after-year.

if anything it's gonna be yet another bargain binged Dollar Store vet LB.. on a one or 2 year cheap (very cheap) deal . .

Just as he pursued vet Hendricks, Cap Boy will make it another repeat on the cheapest, known name vet.

-Chiefs definitely not letting young Bolton go,.
-Ditto with pleasant surprisee Baun .
-Wash will re-sign leader Wagner with their enormous cap space.
- Greenlaw could be a big low risk/high reward as he is still struggling recovery with that achilles tendon.
- Lavonte David would be my best per cheap/quality...

For sure need to resign kendricks

Absolutely. I like what be brought to the team when healthy . If there was a turnover Kendrick’s was either punching the ball out or intercepting tipped passes . Man is a smart veteran simple .

Draft Danny Stutsman Oklahoma or Jihaad Campbell Alabama . Big time programs these are sideline to sideline play wreckers .

Have to draft a LB and resign Kendrick’s .

Jalon Walker round one I have no problem . I think of him as more an Edge in the Parsons mold chasing down the QB creating havoc
