Pyromania came after High and Dry and even if you don't include Photograph and Rock of Ages the album was very good. For me at least from Hysteria afterwards they changed....and not for the better.

I hated it, although I haven't listened to it since it first came out. So it's possible that I wouldn't be appalled by it anymore. I just know that at the time it was a huge disappointment to me.
