A lot of it is speculation based on silence. You have no idea if it is true or not.

Guess what a lot of players do when the season ends - they go on vacation with their family, who they haven't seen much of since August.

They don't hold press conferences, and while a a few are very active on social media a lot of them don't use it. They're disappointed, tired, so they get away.

How much faith the organization has in Dak remains to be seen. His contract situation will answer that question, one way or another.
Of course it's speculation as far as my opinion of it. What isn't untrue is that aside from now Micha defending him which I found out about today, nobody has come out in support of him. The idea that everyone is on vacation doesn't hold water. The QB of the team has been getting dragged relentlessly in the media. Anyone that felt anything for the guy would have taken the 10 seconds it takes to send a tweet. The fact they haven't bothered "because vacation" speaks volumes. MM and Jerry have had cameras in their faces, where's their support? Nothing. Nadda.

Because he is a Cowboy.
Nobody hates the Cowboys team anymore, not really, they hate their fans. You have to have success to be hated as an organization....look at the Chiefs. Everyone loved it when they finally broke out and won a couple SBs. Now...everyone hates them. Sustained success breeds hate.

You really have no clue. I am near Philly. They hate the Cowboys. The Cowboys are not new to the game. They still have 5 Superbowls. Hatred has been built up over many many years. You really gonna say everyone hates the Chefs and not the Cowboys?? If you think nobody hates the Cowboys, because the have not won a Superbowl in a long time, You are clueless.

Again, they hate the fans. Mostly because they won't shut up about having 5 super bowls, the last one being before most of them were born.

It's a reach to think that the organization has turned it's back on Dak. You don't know what is talked about internally. If you're expecting this mass of players to come out publicly and start throwing other players under the bus, you're going to be disappointed. There's not a player on this team that played well enough in the game to blame any other player.

I'm not making excuses for Dak, he did not play well in the playoff game. You know what? The entire team did not play well in the playoff game. You can go down the list of the entire team, Dak included, and find blame for that loss to the Packers. Did Dak choke? yep. Did the coaches choke? yep. Did the rest of the team choke? Yep

This notion that Dak is somehow on this isolated island within the organization is a total reach. Truth is, the guy was playing at an MVP level going into the playoffs.
My bad thought it was a team game, thought the starting franchise QB for the Cowboys playing like trash when it matters most for his entire career actually carried some weight and blame.

Yes, he already came forward after the game and said he sucked. The rest of the team going radio silent while he gets dragged feels like they are all in agreement.
Fans not seeing and understanding this locker room has just been lost are the same fans that continually get cut off in traffic.

Expect it to be very silent as we wait to go all in after the first 2 rounds of free agency.
This offseason is going to have all the flair and excitement of a funeral procession.

Lame duck head coach. Same qb unless he finds some pride and demands a trade. Some retread DC that will be promoted to HC at midseason. Some FAs that either bounced from PS to PS or are a 33 year old name you know looking for a last bag.

Oh, and a 2nd round TE or injury rebuild

All that but you forget Jerry said he was going all in which translates into signing OBJ because that should be the final piece.

Yea, sure you would. When you have a bad day at work, how about giving some of that money back to the company to help them out??
I've done that already and it wasn't because of performance. Gave big paycut and less benefits to keep our company from bankruptcy, which they eventually filed for anyway.....next?

Dak was terrible but so was Quinn's defense. Plenty of blame to go around. I have moved on and you should too. The draft is in 2 1/2 months.

Yea, that worked out great for you. Just like if Dak gave back money, does not guarantee a Superbowl.

Maybe you should be telling Micah and Ceedee instead of me. Their family members heard it from them and regurgitated it on social media.

They know Dakotas true worth better than we do and I trust their judgment.

It has now been nearly 3 weeks since our implosion in the WC game. 3 weeks of Dak getting absolutely annihilated in the press and on social media by everyone and, literally, their mother.

There has been nothing but silence. For someone who is supposedly a great leader, the players who supposedly are the ones that follow this leader, have said nothing to support him. His offensive linemen, silence. WRs? Silence. Ferguson? Silence. Pollard? Silence. Defense? Silence. Coaches? Silence. Ownership? Not so thinly veiled shots across the bow, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us, and that's how far we went."

This entire organization has turned its back on Dak. Honestly, and this is coming from a Dak "hater," I feel kind of bad for the guy. It's not like he doesn't try hard or put in the work to be successful, he just isn't that guy and never will be. The choke glitch is mental and no amount of extra practice or film watching is going to fix that.

That said, he does work hard, but he has lost the locker room and organizational support. He should ask for a trade just based on what he should be viewing as the team sticking a knife in his back.
You had me until you said you feel bad for him.

If he'd expressed even a modicum of humility along the way I might feel differently.

He bought the same false narrative that his devotees are constantly espousing. He actually believes the myth and helped to promote it. He stood by and said nothing while teammates, coaches, coordinators, etc were disposed of to protect his status and reputation. And for all of that, he's about to demand to be the highest paid guy in NFL history while not having done a dang thing to earn that status .

I don't feel bad for him. I enjoy seeing phony self promoters get exposed. It's long overdue.
