It has now been nearly 3 weeks since our implosion in the WC game. 3 weeks of Dak getting absolutely annihilated in the press and on social media by everyone and, literally, their mother.

There has been nothing but silence. For someone who is supposedly a great leader, the players who supposedly are the ones that follow this leader, have said nothing to support him. His offensive linemen, silence. WRs? Silence. Ferguson? Silence. Pollard? Silence. Defense? Silence. Coaches? Silence. Ownership? Not so thinly veiled shots across the bow, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us, and that's how far we went."

This entire organization has turned its back on Dak. Honestly, and this is coming from a Dak "hater," I feel kind of bad for the guy. It's not like he doesn't try hard or put in the work to be successful, he just isn't that guy and never will be. The choke glitch is mental and no amount of extra practice or film watching is going to fix that.

That said, he does work hard, but he has lost the locker room and organizational support. He should ask for a trade just based on what he should be viewing as the team sticking a knife in his back.
I dunno man how do we really know? That implosion with CeeDee didn’t look good. He had to be something that happened between them. You see comments like the LV bag reminds him where the game is played, and it makes you raise an eyebrow. Like that’s your concern? As a fan I found it strange, I wonder how something like that plays out amongst players. Then fast forward to the game and he looks out of sorts a bit, and maybe the preparation wasn’t up to standard.

I'm sure there are some players who aren't overly enthusiastic about Dak's play but know better than to rock the boat. It may even be true of a few of the staff but they'd also be inclined to keep it under wraps. Dak will surely be given another year to extract himself from his woes and we can all take that to the bank. What transpires after whatever comes upon the upcoming season's ending is anyone's guess. Dak may likely be playing under the auspices of another HC, unless I miss my guess. I'll brace for a season that will see plenty of doubts to be dealt with. May Lady Luck prevail.

Sorry to hear that man. Have you tried talking to someone?

Oh they will.
mostly because some fans do nothing but talk about Dak. They are obsessed. I never see them discuss anything else about the team.
Pretty sad when the fans hate their own player more than the opposing teams fans do.

I get it but all the money in the world will never fix the fact that his legacy will be as a choker in his lifes work.

If it was me. I'd give half of all that money to have gotten a Lombardi and succeeded in my life's work.

Money wise, he was set for life 3 years ago.....the rest is just fluff
Yea, sure you would. When you have a bad day at work, how about giving some of that money back to the company to help them out??

Personally I don't care if Dak got the money. Jerry was stupid enough to give it to him and give him whatever he wanted in that negotiation all based on "feels." And if Jerry was dumb enough to do that Dak was smart enough to pick and agent who bent Jerry over for it. Good for him.
Couldn’t agree more. Gotta get yours while you can. Now we’re back at the table let’s hope they can agree to something that works for all sides. But still allows Dallas an out 2-3 years.

To be fair didn’t Micah say something positive about Dak the other day?
Yes, I read about it today. I actually posted about it earlier in this thread. But like I said, where is everyone else? It's been 3 weeks of Dak just getting annihilated. 1 dude in 3 weeks comes forward (and funny enough, it's the guy the Dak stans seem to hate the most) and supports him? What about all his guys catching balls from him? What about his linemen? His RB? His coaches? FO that's on the hook for his paycheck? Radio silence.

Expect it to be very silent as we wait to go all in after the first 2 rounds of free agency.

That play has given the fans plenty of reasons.

If I was a fan of another team, I'd love for Dak to be a Cowboy. It means never having to suffer through them winning a super bowl.
You can say that about most teams QB's. I am talking about outright hate. You know the difference.

The only one I want to hear from is CeeDee
Honestly, if he's such a great leader, there should have been a bunch of players and coaches rallying around him. How about the FO? The cryptic nonsense from Jerry suggests that they are shook in that office over re-signing this dude.

Why the hell would fans of other teams hate him? Because he's eliminated their teams from the playoffs so many times there is now a rivalry? There's nothing for them to hate.

How? What part of what I said is untrue
A lot of it is speculation based on silence. You have no idea if it is true or not.

Guess what a lot of players do when the season ends - they go on vacation with their family, who they haven't seen much of since August.

They don't hold press conferences, and while a a few are very active on social media a lot of them don't use it. They're disappointed, tired, so they get away.

How much faith the organization has in Dak remains to be seen. His contract situation will answer that question, one way or another.

:hammer: ........The only question I have is....Did McCarthy sabotage Dak.....just like he sabotage Kellen???? So he could get the guy he really wanted. We all see how McCarthy operates now...make it fail so he can get his way....That's what back stabbers do.
Thanx for the laugh.

btw don't give yourself the nailed it av if you clearly haven't nailed it.
