With Cincy up on the Giants, if they pull out the win, the Cowboys future is in their own hands. Their loss and a Cowboys win today sets the division like this:

NY: 6-4
DAL: 4-5
WAS: 3-6
PHI: 3-6

After this, the following games fall like this:

NY: BYE, GB, WAS, NO, ATL, BAL, PHI
DAL: CLE, WAS, PHI, CIN, PIT, NO, WAS

I see 3 games that the Giants should lose.
I see 0 games that the Cowboys should lose. Maybe 1 (PIT).

This season is far from over and this division is up for grabs.

The whole division looks so horrible right now anything is possible.

If we lose this game and this opportunity we should blow the team up. IMO

And being a bit of a homer/optimist to say the Giants should clearly lose 3 of their remaining games. Unlike us, they know how to turn it on when it matters. We just struggle and routinely lose games we should win year after year. I refuse to let this team disappoint me until we actually have a coach with a fighting chance of success.

Doesn't take much for the dreamers to slip back into slumber.

That's the problem!!!
We have a team that likes to self-destruct :banghead:

thats funny because when i look at that schedule i see 3 games that we will lose in the usual excruciatingly heart breaking 4 quarter fashion.

Now I remember why I don't post in the "Fan" Zone anymore.

Excuse my positivity and optimism, I'll take it elsewhere.

Great description. That made me laugh. Well played.

What you posted was not "positivity" or "optimism" it was delusional, plain and simple.

IMO, we could win or lose out...there is simply no telling with this team, thus the frustration that has crept into the fan base.

Looking at our schedule, short of CLE whom we should beat I can easily see us losing any of the remaining 6 games. With WAS and PHI you just never know.

CIN is currently stomping the Gnats. PIT and NO seem to be playing much better lately.

Cincy beating the hell out of the Giants and New Orleans beating Atlanta and Dallas should beat both of those teams easily.......

:lmao2:

Fans.....

For the Cowboys, it's all about the division.. They're 1-1 with four to go. They have a shot. A small one, but they have one.

What planet do you live on? There are at least three games that Dallas will blow on there, it's what we do.

Probably should do it anyway.

Lack of talent and too much stupidity across the board.

Admittedly, I'm down on the Cowboys right now. But if someone wants to be positive and he isn't attacking or calling out other posters in the process, he should be able to do so without incurring excessive amounts of snark...in my opinion.

I think the point is nobody else in the division is either.

The Giants are getting trucked by the Bengals right now and Eli hasn't thrown a TD in 11 quarters and counting.

The Commanders have been reamed by injuries, and their defense is barely serviceable. And as impressive as RG3 has been he is still a rookie QB.

The Eagles are 1 bad loss away from a meltdown IMO. They looked awful against the Saints, their Oline is legitimately worse than ours and their defense has not responded well to Castillo being fired. Their owner has officially put Andy on notice, and if we beat them today their season is over and players will start quitting on him. They may even put in Foles for Vick.

Smart money is still on the Giants figuring things out over the bye and going on their usual late season run, no question of that.

But the way all 4 teams look right now? We could possibly back into this "Biggest Loser" contest by default.

That's not to say I think we will, or that its not far more likely we will have a chance to do it and lose stupidly to Washington in week 17 to miss out.

Its a huge test for our secondary to see whether we can now hang with their quick receivers.
