The State of Texas and the Draft

If every state had a NFL team comprised of only home grown players, Texas would win the Super Bowl every year. Cali and Florida may win one every decade or so.

They do more for the future of students than coaches. A small percentage of athletes make it to the big league. If these students don't learn well their future is usually not too bright. That is why teachers who actually teach reading, writing, and arithmetic and don't get into politics should be more valuable

Most coaches (really only the HC of football maybe Basketball) or required to also teach, i'm guessing its like that in most states. HC's here in Texas have seen salaries go up for sure. I went to Aledo and I'm sure my HS HC would die (again) if he knew what the current HC made.
