its the tales of the second half, Rams, GB, Atlanta, now eagles. All games we dominated in the first half and came out and got creamed in the second half. we make no adjustments. we don't improve. not sure what happens in half time, but we come out flat, caught by surprise, begin to panic.

and I see signs of a team quitting on their coaches. same thing with wade....it starts small and it snow balls. injuries or no injuries, because Philly lost peters and all pro left tackle, yet they are humming along. they don't have a zeke in the back field, yet they churn out 200 yards last night.

this team is starting to quit on their coaches. small little signs. not following assignments. panicking and players doing their own thing instead. it happened multiple times last night..... they pressing too hard. they are frustrated. coaching is not helping.

smith maybe comeing back, but given we played a sunday night game, not sure how the team will respond on Thursday.

Parcells said you always know what kind of a team you have by Thabksgiving.

We are a .500 team. Off the heels of a 13-3 season, not making the playoffs is unacceptable.

No excuses. Coaches are responsible and accountable for the product on the field, and with the talent they have— it is NOT good enough.

I think we are thinking too much about why this happened, and will happen again. When we need to compete and play our best, we are found wanting for talent. Plain and simple.

We were on a winning streak just 2 games ago so talk of players quitting on JG is optimistic.

This team is not talented enough to handle adversity that comes with injuries and the coaches are not good enough either to compensate.

As has been written here before, we win when Zeke gets yards after contact and the O faces 2 and 4 instead of 2 and 7. When we pass to much, we struggle because receivers struggle to get open and Dak is in his second year, and wait for for it,,,,,,,,wait,,,,wait,,,, needs a supporting cast like a modicum of protection and an open receiver. We are a run first team.

Last year fostered overconfidence in the talent we had and we failed to improve the D. But, Dak is good enough to compete in this league. He is at least as good as Russell Wilson and others who have won playoff games. If he Aaron Rodgers? No. Can we win as a passing team first, running team second? Doubt it.

I think we see why JJ was so pissed when Zeke was sacked by RG.

Atlanta First half we are down 10-7

Second half Atlanta scores 17 points

Philly first half we are up 9-7

Second half Philly scores 30 points

In two games we have scored 16 points in the first half.
Zero points in the second half.

However we have also allowed 47 points in the second half...47 UNANSWERED points.

So if you see a person or multiple people on here blaming the losses on the QB and pretty much only the QB...You know that they have an agenda.
If you see someone blaming the losses only on the Offense...you know they have an agenda.
If you see someone blaming the losses only on the Defense...you know they have an agenda.

This team is equally bad on both Offense and Defense in back to back games.

They start out playing well and completely fold in the second half.

Not only are they not scoring points in the second half of these losses...
They are averaging giving up 23.5 points

Offense and Defense are screwing the pooch here.

You can only go so long blaming one or two players and be credible when both sides of the ball are doing so bad.

Might be time to look a little higher up on the food chain.

Both Coordinators, the HC and the GM.

We know the GM is not going anywhere.

Wonder about the Coordinators and HC.

Completely agree with everything here. You can blame players, but bottom line, it's coaching and the GM not having the ability to make deals to get serviceable players.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well, here we are. Year after year. I already have a disdain for the NFL as a whole, now my team is pushing me to the edge of just not caring.

I'm not even that upset like I used to be after a Philly loss because I expected it.

I was frankly shocked at the end of the first half.

Going into the game I was expecting a good old fashioned butt whooping from eagles.

We were in the lead going into the second half so I was really shocked.

Of course the second half, the real eagles team showed up and the real cowboys team showed up and the butt whooping I thought we were going to get was put on display.

I agree. But Jerrah won't can Garrett or any of the coaches. He already said so last night and even laughed mockingly at the suggestion.

I was ready to be on Team Jerrah with this league business but forget it. This team isn't worth defending.

One of the main issues is we always take the kickoff which means teams are able to come out from halftime with the ball and take long consuming TD drives, against the Giants as well although it was for 3

0-3 in the red zone folks you ant winning games when you can’t score TD’s you score 3 TD’s the entire game changes.

Also I’m sick of JG always taking the KO, BP always wanted the ball in the 2nd half. Maybe JG should let his defense get going first.

I hate this staff

they made half time adjustments that we weren't ready for. the coaches should anticipate what adjustments the other team will make against your offense and defense and then counter....instead we continued to do exactly the same thing as first half, while eagles adjusted.

I would have loved to see some blitzes, some stunts, etc. from the DL, instead it was straight head one one one rush the whole game and it didn't work.

that;'s the wart that zeke has been hiding. eagles went to different players, different plays and they succeeded. all their eggs weren't in one basket.

People want to blame the players but this has been the pattern with JG's team. 2011 vs Lions, 2013 vs GB, 2015 vs ATL are some examples. Different players. Same HC. Same result.

That's because our defense is so bad he doesn't want to start each game down by a TD. He knows it. We're the only team in the league that does this.

Our defense is really good in the first half so that's bogus.

It would be much better to give us a boost at half time by getting the ball and controlling the clock. Look at the KC game, have up a TD to end the half then a long drive that ended in a TD to start the 3rd. Dak has the team up 14-3 and when he got the ball back it was over an hour and now down 17-14

The consistency with our second half failures, and we're not talking just this year points directly to the coaching staff.....but when the owner/ cough, cough GM, only cares about his ranking on Forbes, how the team does on the football field ranks a distant second.
